Just For Men Hair Colour Jet Black

Good Product for Me for About 10 Years Now

I have used Just For Men Coloring since I discontinued daily use of Grecian Formula for men about 10 years ago. Although Just for Men takes more time and doesn't seem to get the color advertised on the front of the box, it holds its color fairly well for about 3-4 weeks. I was concerned about applying the chemicals in Grecian Formula to my head every day, so that is why I stopped using it and switched to Just for Men.

It's my first time trying this as a lady. It's okay.

Pros: It does the job with less time than other products out there. It's good for short hair. Cons: It drips. There needs to be a better applicator. It doesn't smell great. My favorite hair color products is Loreal Preference. I'm all for venturing off and trying different products but that one seems to work the best for me. Tips I recommend: Buy a paintbrush to apply product better. Vaseline around your hair line, ears and shoulders. It will be easier to wipe off afterwards. When you're rinsing in shower, work it in to your hair a few minutes to help loosen the product. Rinse with warm to cold water. Enjoy your new locks of love.

I decided on Just For Men primarily based on availability, and secondarily on price.The process itself was quick and easy. Just For men!

I heard that they had made dye's for your mustache and beard. I did not know that you guys made shampoo and rinse out. Amazing stuff. I will be reordering it, but I have learned about parts of my hair. I still have a little grey on the left side. I got more little sandy blonde on the right and I need to massage it in a little longer. Other than that, it's a great product. Thank you. And delivery was quick.

Just an OK product for a higher price

I use the "Sandy Blonde", and on occasion, the "Darkest Blonde/Lightest Brown" colors. The hair color does not last 8 weeks, as stated by the company. For me, at best, the color lasts 4 weeks. I also notice that the color doesn't "stick" to some of the grey hair, such as the hair on my temple. The company also states that the color will not wash out, but that is not an accurate statement either. Over the weeks, my white towel gets brown from drying my hair with it. The price has increased over the years, but the product hasn't gotten better. If the price was 40% lower, I would consider it a good value, but being that I have to use it twice as often (every 4 weeks instead of every 8 weeks), it's just "OK".

Works as stated. Quick, and easy. Get lighter shades first. If you’re not happy with the color then go darker. You will stain towels and possibly floor or sink if you have drops or splatter.

Using this for 15 plus years, no complaints. I have a few tips on using it.

Been using this for 15 plus years, no complaints. But, as with any chemical, do not let it go to your eyes, it is painful. I shampoo my hair twice after using it, and while rinsing I do not let water go over my face or eyes. While applying it in hair, if it spills over, it can leave a light black color spots on face, neck or ears. One great tip is to apply petroleum jelly on open areas of you face, neck and ears, close to your hair (but do not apply it on the hair). Then even if it spills overs, the petroleum jelly does not let it leave the light black color spots on your skin (these spots got out anyway in a day or two, but still better to avoid them with petroleum jelly).

He mostly has grey hair on the sides of his head so we although we applied the color to the entire head, we concentrated a little bit more of the solution on the sides. It was easy to mix the two solutions and the smell was not as strong as the ammonia smell I am used to from generic products we've tried in the past (the kind you can get from beauty supply stores). The wait time was pretty short at 5 minutes. The results are good - subtle color that almost completely got rid of the grey and replaced it with his natural light brown hair color. Overall the product was easy to use and the results were exactly what we were looking for - nothing too dark or drastic.
