Jurassic World Hammond Collection: Pyroraptor Action Figure (10cm)

He's so cool he has so many articulations so you can pose him in so many different ways! He has amazing details like life-like glass eyes and a posable wire tail. The boys are happy to finally have a Hammond Collection to add to there other dinosaurs. Another awesome product from Mattel! While this is a collectors item its also a super fun toy!

My daughter has quite the extensive collection of Jurassic World dinosaurs now, but this was her first Hammond Collection dinosaur. She was really pleased with the both the quality and extra details that went into it! We were both pretty impressed when we saw that real glass was used for the eyes of the dinosaur! It was a cool touch and it made the Pyroraptor that much more special. I do think the glass eyes would make a bigger impact on a larger dinosaur (it's a little hard to really appreciate how neat they are since the dinosaur is a smaller size, but we still loved that extra touch!) The tail was also flexible, which isn't something usually possible with the regular Jurassic World dinosaurs, and that was a fun bonus too! One thing that was a downside to this dinosaur was that it did not include a scan code. I do realize the Hammond Collection dinosaurs are maybe geared more towards collector pieces, but it would be fun if they included a code in their packaging somewhere, at least. This was still an amazing quality dinosaur and she was absolutely thrilled to add it to her growing collection.

Nice toy, my boys loved playing with it; it’s small/compact; easy to take on car rides or to the park, the boys would stick it in their pockets and off we went. It has great range of motion for imaginative play, mouth opens and closes; my son loved that; often made him “breathe fire” during their dinosaur attacks.The only thing we didn’t like, was that the hands and tail came off; they were often misplaced and this would cause a lot of arguing between the two boys on who lost what. If you have younger kids, or kids who like to put toys in their mouths; please be cautious.
