I've been trying the many variations of sardines and this one is by far the best. I agree that they are not particularly spicy but that's ok because they still have a great flavour. They have become a weekly staple on my shopping list.

We were sent these free to try in return for an honest review. We happily tried these as you can't beat sardines on toast for a quick, nutritious lunch. We had ours accompained by a watercress salad and that went really well. The sardines were tasty and the product is good quality but the sauce could do with a bit more spice to balance the oiliness of the fish.

I never buy any other sardines, can't be doing with picking out the bones. It's already bad enough taking off the skin! We have them on toast with tomatoes for their health benefits.

These were offered for review. The main reason I like these sardines is that the can holds just enough for one meal. For this reason, I would buy them again. The sauce is tasty, but I wouldn't call it spicy. Inside the can were 4 plump sardines, in good condition. The packaging is recyclable. The manufacturer makes claims about the cans being 100% traceable. I went to their website to try it out but I failed to get the online form to work. This might have been my fault.
Lovely sardines. Plump, filing the tin, juicy, firm to the bite (not mushy like some cheaper ones). Tomato sauce was pleasantly thick (ie not watery) and had a good flavour, although I personally didn’t find it at all spicy. These sardines are great in a seeded bap for a quick, nutritious breakfast or lunch. We should all be eating more sardines, since they are plentiful in the seas around us. They are fantastic value, and it’s imo worth spending the few extra bob to buy these branded ones. I shall be buying these again.
Have to admit, I often forget I have these in the cupboard; but when I do remember, I thoroughly enjoy them on toast. Given they are so tasty, there must be countless recipes that incorporate tinned pilchards… I must seek them out!To think I started buying them as an occasional treat for my fussy cat, but she only gets a spoonful now.
Often big boneless fillets with thick tasty sauce squeezed in so we add a bit more liquid to the sauce for dressing accompanying salad &/or over potato salad . An easy & tasty way to have protein & omega 3. Our favourite is served with a hot split jacket spud with tomatoes & a few herbs side-salad. . After all the years we've still 'on toast' & in a sandwich to look forward to.
Very tasty sardines. I wouldn't say they were spicy really, I thought they could have been a bit spicier. I added more salt because I didn't think they were salty enough. This was a good, cheap and easy meal
Great tasting fish, nice on plain toast. Moist and succulent. Healthy too. Only problem is that the lid is difficult to open. The enjoyment of the meal out-weighs this though.
