And it turns out Jabra's been very busy.If you've never owned a set of Jabra earbuds before, I can't say that you can go wrong getting started now. They may not have the name recognition of some of the luxury brands, but they can easily match them blow for blow when it comes to features and audio quality. The sound you get out of these is amazingly rich for their size, the built in microphones offer great utility for phone calls or video conferences, and they hold themselves in your ear amazingly well provided you've got the right plugs installed. All in all they offer a decidedly premium experience. If like me you've already got a set of Jabra buds, you'll likely be very pleased to see the improvements they've made. The earbuds are significantly lighter than the previous generation, making them more comfortable for extended use (essential if like me you like to use them for remote meetings.) The case now features wireless charging and a longer lifespan which makes them far more convenient for all day use, though this does come at the cost of a slight increase in size and weight. And the new ANC feature has significantly improved the already great passive noise isolation. And if you really want to dial things in but don't have any of the expertise to do so, the updated app combined with the improved mics in the Elite 7 Pro means they can self-adjust some of their more fiddly features to really dial in the sound quality and noise cancellation. I'll admit that I don't have the kind of ear needed to really tell how good a job the app does at this, but I can definitely say it is doing something.I've been using it pretty extensively for a few days, and found that overall it works more or less as you'd expect. The system meant to automatically detect wind noise and switch to bone conduction for voice pickup was a little unreliable my first day, but after that I applied a firmware update which seemed to improve performance somewhat. Audio is definitely better with the mics when they're available, but the bone conduction option is definitely good enough. The noise cancellation also definitely worked better on louder engine noises than it did on household fans, air purifiers, and other electronic noises, so they may not be the best pick if that's your main concern. That said they also didn't produce the same kind of persistent pressure in your ear canals that I've noticed on other more thorough noise cancelling headphones and earbuds, so if you expect to be wearing these throughout the day they're a little less headache inducing. And while I still wouldn't call them my first pick for strenuous activity or exercise, I was unable to dislodge them from my head no matter how firmly I shook myself around on walks and light runs with my dog.It definitely feels like a product primarily being aimed at professional users who need a portable and lightweight option for hands free calls. I can't really say that I've ever seen a set of earbuds that put this much effort into making sure that call quality remains consistently good regardless of ambient audio, something that I feel most earbuds treat as an afterthought at best. That said, I can't say I spotted anything that's been cut in service of that goal. They are remarkably solid all-rounders, and a worthy successor to my own battered pair.

Don't buy if mic quality is important.

This was also the case when I tested using the recording app on my Pixel 6 Pro and played it back.Very strange that the mic quality is so poor compared to a much older and cheaper set from the same manufacturer. It seems like the software isn't tuned correctly to blend the two different types of mics used. Changing sidetone, ANC, or hear through didn't have any affect the mics ability to properly transmit your voice. The reviews of these from professional sites must have been using an early firmware version that could have changed the mics recording quality. One star off for the mic.One star off because the first pair that I exchanged had a dead left bud, no power led, not able to be reset.I wouldn't buy these if you need to use the mic.

This is the most important feature to me because I want to know that my earbuds fit securely and that I can move around quickly without worry of losing one of them.Because of the Active Noise Cancellation feature of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, it becomes necessary, at times, to hear sounds or voices around you, for which the “HearThrough” feature is both convenient and remarkable. I am not only able to actively listen without removing my earbuds, but I am also sometimes able to hear more clearly with the “HearThrough” feature active than I had been without wearing the earbuds.Because of the long-lasting battery of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro Earbuds, I am able to work seamlessly without interruption to my daily productivity. Communicating in my office on speakerphone is no longer my preferred method; now, I prefer to use my earbuds to switch quickly between calls, music, podcasts, and meetings. The audio quality cannot be ignored. I didn’t think that I would ever be ready to set aside my wired headphones, but the Jabra Elite 7 Pro wireless earbuds make that an easy option. Both my productivity and communication have been improved, and I am very happy to have integrated these earbuds into my daily routine.

I wore these headphones for extended periods, and they remained snugly in place without causing any discomfort. The included variety of ear tips allowed me to find the perfect fit for my ears, ensuring optimal noise isolation and audio quality.Battery Life (4.5/5):The battery life of the Elite 7 Pro is impressive, providing up to 9 hours of playback time on a single charge. The charging case extends this to a total of 35 hours, which is more than sufficient for my daily needs. Quick charging is also a huge plus – a 15-minute charge gave me around 2 hours of playback time.Connectivity and Controls (4.5/5):Pairing the headphones with my devices was seamless, thanks to Bluetooth 5.2 technology. I experienced stable connections and minimal dropouts even in busy wireless environments. The touch controls on the earbuds were intuitive and responsive, allowing me to adjust volume, skip tracks, and answer calls effortlessly.Additional Features (4.5/5):The Jabra Sound+ app enhances the overall experience with customizable EQ settings, allowing me to fine-tune the sound to my liking. The app also features a helpful "Find My Jabra" feature and an equalizer to suit different audio preferences.Minor Grievance:The only slight drawback I encountered was that the touch controls took a little getting used to, and I occasionally unintentionally triggered commands while adjusting the earbuds. Conclusion:In the realm of true wireless earbuds, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro stands out as a remarkable choice. Its superb sound quality, comfortable fit, impressive battery life, and advanced features make it a top-tier option for both music enthusiasts and professionals on the go. If you're seeking a premium listening experience, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro should definitely be at the top of your list.

Build:I thought the build quality of these earbuds was great I like that they made them lighter and slightly smaller than my 65t.Case:I did not like the case at all. It's not very grippy and I found myself dropping the case from time to time. (Thank goodness I work in an office and I'm normally sitting already when I take them out to use them) As someone with larger hands, I found the case extremely hard to open due to not having a notch, texture, or a latch release like the 65t.Comfort:These are very easy to wear for hours at a time. They are very light and I haven't had one of them fall out yet even when working out.Sound:These sound amazing! if you download the app and configure the sound profile I promise you will love the sound that these produce. ... MoreBuild:I thought the build quality of these earbuds was great I like that they made them lighter and slightly smaller than my 65t.Case:I did not like the case at all. The ANC works well for me and the sound passthrough is great when I'm exercising or listening to music at the desk.Call quality:For me, this is where headphones start to fail. I primarily used these for making and receiving calls and boy do they fall short.I set up my voice assistant in the app but it's still quite difficult to call my assistant often times using the button or voice activation seems to fail. I'm not completely ruling out user error but I can say that it's not a seamless or intuitive setup if I'm missing something else. When I do get my assistant to respond I'm usually met with the wrong actions due to the assistant not being able to understand commands for instance " what time is it?" is met with "How long would you like to set your timer for?".Callers also state that when using one earbud they can hardly hear anything at all and when using the other all the ambient sounds are amplified and I'm not able to be heard. This is probably the worst headphone I've used for calls so far and I had a pair of sony headphones that would randomly disconnect from my phone while talking on it so that's saying a lot. With that being said I was always about to hear the caller loud and clear and the auto-mute when removed from the ear was amazing never had an issue with it muting in my ear.Customer Service:Customer service seems to be slightly below average. When you first reach out to speak to someone about the headphones you are met with a virtual assistant that asks a bunch of questions and has to do a bunch of stuff. They didn't really have a troubleshooting path for my particular issue but it's hard to cover everything with an assistant however I understand the need for it. After that, I communicated with a person via email to process my return. They did not offer me an advanced replacement or expedited shipping both of which I would have gladly paid for to get my product back faster. If ever have to do a warranty exchange and you are expecting to have your headphones back faster...Don't! It took 6 days for it to get there and 6 days to process the package and after all of that, I just received an email stating it will be another 5 to 7 days to get my headphones back! That means I will have been without my headphones for 17 days minimum when they get back to me. Not very pleased with the return/exchange process at all.Review too long? Read this insteadOverall these are good headphones IF you plan on using them for listening. I would not recommend these to anyone who is planning to use them for conversation at all, customer service was subpar and the return/exchange process is horrible so if that's important to you avoid these. It's such a disappointment too because I had nothing but success with the 65t.

Great for music. Horrible for calls.

I needed a pair of earbuds for taking calls on my cell (work: Samsung S22; personal: Google Pixel 6) as well as when I'm on my laptop using Zoom and MS Teams. I have a Jabra Evolve 65 headset that works well but os bulky, so after doing research online and seeing the Elite 7 Pro was meant for calls, I purchased them. They were great for listening to audio and I enjoyed the features that were available to customize the audio experience on the Jabra Sound+ app.But they absolutely failed for taking calls through either phone (tried both) or connected to the Windows laptop. (It should be noted that Jabra says the earbuds are meant for a connection through a phone and there is reduced functionality when connecting via Bluetooth on a laptop - you don't have the ability to use the Sound+ app for instance.) I was told several times that I was muffled and sounded like I was talking from a different room. It ended up that I couldn't use them to do what I wanted to for work so they were of no use for me and I returned them. Indeed, if you search "jabra elite 7 pro call quality issues", you'll see others have the same issue. So do you want a great pair of music buds, I'd recommend these. But they are not for talking on the phone. Also, I wasn't a fan of the charging case. There is no lip or edge to the lid and it was really frustrating to try and open the case.

Great product, Great price

Amazing true wireless headphones! I definitely recommend. I've been using Jabra products for a several years and I am always pleased. However just like everything else, nothing is perfect. The things I like about Jabra Elite 7 Pro:The sound is crisp and fantactic for almost all music genre. I listen to Metal, Folk, and EDMThe battery lasts a long time and they charge quick for extended play. Both pieces can be used separately from one another (previous model you could only use the right by itself, if you tried to use the left it wouldn't connect)Phone calls are fine and the other party can hear fine but it obviously isn't a professional mic.The noise canceling is amazing. I use them at the shooting range, I used to use them for manufacturing, and on planes you can't hardly hear the engines.Hear through is a nice feature and makes it easy to chat with someone without needing to remove your headphones. The size is awesome for large and small ears, not uncomfortable and dont fall out (not talking about the squishy parts but the actual product.)Latency is good, I use them for competitive gaming with my PC.They are small and sleek and look very appealing, if you like having the hooks hang out of your ear like a dingus you might not like the look of these though. What I don't like:The material of the case is awful, if you keep it in your pocket it will become flakey and look terrible very quickly. Previous gen did not do this. The mobile app is eh, it does its job but nothing to write home about. The controls on the actual earbuds are difficult for me to use except for ANC and hearthrough.Sometimes while connected to 2 different devices at the same time they get confused and refuse to play either until you DC bluetooth on one device, like if you're watching a show on your laptop and connected to your phone for calls.Even with the cons I would still personally rate them a 5 star and highly recommend to a friend.

Love the Jabra Elites!!!
10 November 2022

I consider myself an avid Audiophile. I have tried many different earbud wireless headphones and I have to say that Jabra has come a very long way from their earlier releases (naturally). My typical wants / needs are for the headphones to have quality all around sound with the ability to change the EQ if needed and a sleek case that won't be bulging out of my pocket. Needless to say that this headphone does it all! Firstly, I will address that, like most headphones, this came with multiple bud sizes for the perfect fit. After you connect and download the App, it will give the ability to test fit the buds to your ears and tell you if is the perfect fit for you*. Secondly, adjustable ANC?! I have never seen that before in a wireless earbud. I have a few that don't ... MoreI consider myself an avid Audiophile. I have never seen that before in a wireless earbud. I have a few that don't have the feature built in but I like it! I like how easy it is to activate ANC or Hear Through. I was not prepared for this, considering that my current go to is competitor that flows within its own ecosystem. I typically like to to stick to 1 ecosystem (for convenience) but I think I am going to make an exception for these! 1 area of improvement / want are foam tips for the headphones. I typically use my headphones for work or music for hours at a time and while the stock buds are comfortable, they are not good (for me at least) for long time use. Currently, I am still looking for foam tips that I can hopefully swap out for better use. Overall, I would give these headphones an 8.5/10. I never give 10's and it would need to take alot for me to even go into the 9s. I really like these headphones, especially the battery life and the adjustable ANC and EQ. Would definitely recommend this to an audiophile who is looking for more adjustability on everything for headphones.

Sound quality is good, microphones are not
16 January 2023

I upgraded from Elite Active 75t because I was no longer able to get a decent battery life out of them anymore. I was on the fence about the Elite 7 Pro because they are critically acclaimed but most reviews from actual people were the complete opposite. Unfortunately, my experience landed with actual people. They actually fit in my ear better than the Elite 75t since they were smaller, and I got a nice seal. They sounded great but that's where the positives ended for me.My two biggest issues were the microphone during call was awful and with the app. I tried everything I could find on the internet in the settings and no matter what everyone always sounded like I was far away in a tunnel, and that was always in a quiet room. The other issue I had is the very first time I'd set them up the app would recognize the headphones and let me configure them, but any time after that the app would never see the headphones. I even went as far as restarting my phone and still no luck.Ultimately, I returned them and went with the Sony true wireless, which was not my first choice since Jabra has better on headphone controllers. I really hope Jabra can figure out the microphone issue on their next iteration.

Terrible and unreliable call quality
6 August 2023

The call experience is absolutely, inexcusably terrible. It does depend on the shape of your ears, but if the buds don’t fit *exactly* correct the fancy bone vibration mics will make you sound like a barely audible muffled mess if there’s even the remotest amount of background noise. It took me months to figure this out (which subsequently makes a return a lot harder), but here’s what I think is happening:The buds sense background noise and switch from regular mics to the bone-sensing ones. Unless I’m actively pressing the buds against my ears, the person on the other end can barely hear me and I sound super muffled.Note that I have tried resetting multiple times, am on the most current firmware, have tried all the included bud tip sizes, and tried every ... MoreThe call experience is absolutely, inexcusably terrible. I wish I had before I bought these over-engineered, under-tested pieces of junk.FWIW: The listening experience and customization features are awesome. If you’re a kid looking for a really expensive way to only listen to music and never conduct business or take a single phone call with them, these are great.
