I am allergic to aloe vera hence i chose this cream. Its smells soooo good. Just uplifts ur mood right away. I am quite new to curly hair method/routine so still discovering the products. I found it applies better when u emulsify is with water. Makes my hair really soft. My hair is naturally wavy so for my hair type this works fine.

This is such an amazing product. I was on the hunt for a clean product after realising that Fragrance as an ingredient doesn't work on my curls. The products I purchased previously gave amazing definition and definitely kept my hair moisturized but they didn't work on my hair for some reason and also caused my skin to break. Innersense is a clean plant based product with some amazing ingredients and doesn't have fragrance as an ingredient which is exactly what I was looking for. This also rates a big awesome 'Zero' on the Think Dirty App which was a huge relief. This has a sweet citrusy smell which isn't very overpowering but really mild and pleasant. I hadn't tried a curl styling product before, but recently I used a sample of the Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner (as a leave-in conditioner), and it was fabulous. Smelled amazing (and left my hair smelling great all day), and I had curls for (literal) days without oiliness, heaviness, or residue. I should have stuck with what worked, but since I have curly hair, I thought this curl control product would be even better for me. But now my reliable curls fall out within an hour of my hair drying, leaving something between wavy (but not in a cool, beachy way) and straight. Second-day hair is now greasy ... It doesn't make my hair feel silky, and I feel like I should wash it more - it almost feels like there's a build up. But! I will say, it seems to rinse fairly clean and maybe this is part of what its like to use all natural products? This stuff is the ONLY product I have found that defines my curl, with a soft and not crunchy hold, does not weigh my curl down, and tames the frizz. I have ringlets! I don't think I've had those since I was pregnant with my daughter who is now 11 (awesome pregnancy hormone hair). I'm in love with this product for real. I can't attest 100% that this product is wholly responsible for the lovely curls, but it absolutely helps. I use a combination of spray leave-in, Shea Moisture hair milk, a facial/hair oil, and this quiet calm curl control. I bought this when it was 50% off just to give it a try. I'm a die hard Jessicurl user and I have fine hair with a mix of wavy on top and curly underneath. Wow I love this! I use it in the shower just before I get out so it gets applied with plenty of water. Out of the shower I add more water and use a brush to curl clumps and then finish with Jessicurl Spiralicious. My curls come out defined and soft. I love this and will try some other products in the line.

Discovered this brand as fertility safe hair-care, watched lots of you-tube video's on it - they did not lie. This stuff is great quality, creates curl definition minus stickiness and stiffness. I'll be keeping this product in my permanent rotation after pregnancy because it's lovely. This leaves my naturally wavy, but frizz/ flyaway prone, thick hair just lustrous, healthy and silky to look at and touch.

FYI, this product is not going to protect against frizz, so you will need some additional products for that. You get a lot of product for what you pay for so I'm happy with how long this will last me. I also love that the scent is very subtle and not overpowering.
