I have tried other frothers & gave up...until I went back to the search, I wanted stainless steal and found this...Happy to report it's become a family favorite. The amount of froth is amazing. We crave fancy expensive coffee house drinks...but no more. Thank you illy for making an outstanding frother.

I love this frother. I use it to make hot froth for my caffe macchiato. My son makes his hot cocoa in it and says it’s the best hot cocoa ever. I have not used the cold froth function yet. I like that I can pour the milk in, press a button and walk away. I’ve only used a handheld frother in the past, so this is far superior. It’s easy to clean, looks great next to my Y3, and I like that it has a replacement whisk attachment under the machine for just in case.

Smart design….the “Apple” design in milk frothing. Two extra parts are stored under the heating unit. The design is absolutely flawless for storage, ease of clean-up, speed of performance of frothing and heating milk. The quality and amount of the frothing is truly amazing. AND, the warranty is very impressive also. One of my best purchases ever.

I purchased this to replace a Breville device that did not work well, and love the new frother. It holds a full 8 oz of liquid, makes a good froth, is quiet, and has a small footprint on the counter. It makes both hot and cold drinks, which is a nice feature. I use it mainly for hot chocolate, and it has been terrific. Highly recommend.
The sleek, stainless steel design looks so nice on my countertop. Works effortlessly. Heats milk quickly and quietly. Alerts me when the process is done. The foam is thick and creamy. Just love it. Makes every morning special.
This is my first frother and I'm very pleased with it. Makes nice foam and warms the milk. I haven't used the other functions, but I only wanted a frother for my coffee. It's easy to clean and the frother mechanism comes out easily. I do like Illy products, they do a nice job in function and design.
My recent purchase of the illy milk frother was yet another good decision to choose an illy product to produce perfect espresso and coffee. The three function machine( heated frothed milk, hot chocolate mode and chilled froth mode) gives you enough choices for perfect finished beverages. Besides being very quiet in its operation, the consistency of the frothing mechanism is unequaled compared with other machines I’ve tried .. and as a bonus, there are spare parts (frothing and heated milk mixers) included. Built solid to last.
Great addition to my home espresso bar setup. I hesitated to buy since I mainly drink espresso without milk but this frother could change that. So fun to use and I love the hot and cold froth options which really expands the types of drinks that I can create. The best part is that it is easy to clean - no messy steam wand.
This frother pairs perfectly with my Breville espresso machine. It is also convenient for mixing powders into cold liquids. It is so easy to make hot cocoa, and other mixed hot drinks I am blown away by how easy it is to clean this machine.
Of the three setting the one I wanted most, the heated and foamed milk, worked intermittently. On the couple of times it worked the froth was incredibly creamy and yummy, so good it even improved the taste of the milk. It’s really disappointing that it doesn’t work most of the time. I eagerly await the replacement
