I bought this to replace a limited edition Canada 150 S'well bottle that was getting pretty banged up from my travels. It was such a great (+sentimental) bottle so I didn't have the heart to damage it more. This one was the perfect replacement, mostly because I don't really care if it gets scratched and dented, so it's a great standard bottle that does its job quite well. I thought I was crazy for thinking that the S'well bottle kept my drinks slightly better insulated, but I recently learned that S'well bottles are triple-walled and Hydro Flask bottles are double-walled, so that could be why. But honestly, the difference is so marginal. I love this bottle for the exact purpose it serves for me.

This hydro flask is the best water carrier of all time. It keeps my water ice cold all day, keep in mind that I live in Arizona where is like 120 degrees in the summer. I ordered two of them, the black one, and the cobalt one. They both arrived in good quality and fast. It is super portable, and with how busy I get it really comes in handy. However, if you are looking for a lid with a straw, you are going to need to buy it separately. If not, you are going to have to twist the lid in order to open it. Since I play sports and need to be hydrated throughout the day, I’ve tried multiple water bottles, so I can say that the hydro flask is the best. Overall, I was very satisfied with the performance, stability, and quality of this hydro flask.

Had it a couple of months now and it holds ups great. Still looks like new. Keeps drinks cold all day (disclaimer: it’s still winter here). Top is wide enough to get ice cubes in, but not too wide. Reason for 4 stars vs 5: I also have a Camelbak with the magnetic top and I think that is overall a more ingenious design and gets 5 star; in order to rank them, this gets 4.

I bought the hydro flask early August for business travel, mainly for water in airports, on the plane and something that could tip over and not spill. I was between the Yeti (similar style) and the hydro flask and went with the hydroflask b/c it was a) slimmer and it fit on the side pocket on my backpack b) weighed less, which is a big deal on a backpack, c) held more fluids than than the Yeti and d) the one I bought was red. It's hard to lose anything "red" and also I'm not getting it mixed up with other flasks. I also like the texture of the bottle. Well, I placed ice water in it before golf one day. Filled it up just before I left the course and it was still cold the next morning after sitting in the car and in the California heat (it was 90+ during the day and low 50 at night). The most impressive thing I found was that I had luke warm water in it at one point and later added only 3-4 cubes of ice to the water and within an hour the water was cold and still had the ice in it. This thing works just as good as any Yeti or Orca Cup that I own. The key is that it's "airtight". I was a little shocked at the $32 price, but that's the range of the Yeti. After a weeks worth of travel and playing golf 5 times that week and leaving it in vehicles, etc., I'd have to say that this is a wonderful product and I'm extremely pleased that I made the leap from Yeti to the Hydroflask.
The slim water bottle fits in my cup holder / gym bag & the handle makes it easy to carry around on my finger when carrying things, love it. I literally threw away all my other water bottles and got 2 more of these for rotation. Water stays cold… However don’t bump it on things or drop it bc it will scratch easily.
This is my 3rd Hydro Flask, not because anything happened to the first two, but just so I could have them in different places. I love these bottles! They keep my water cool and fresh for hours. Plus, they encourage me to drink more water. They are great for work and travel. Since I started using Hydro Flask I’ve really cut back on my use of plastic, one time use water bottles.
The 21 oz. Hydro Flask is perfect for the side pocket of my day pack. Just the right amount of water to weight ratio, and water stays ice cold all day. Powder coat finish has proven more durable than my off-brand insulated flask with enamel finish. I bought this bottle about a month ago now and love it! I've used it primarily for water/cold drinks and have left the bottle in my car in the sun and my water is still cold. I've also made tea at 6:30am and still had it be warm enough to drink enjoyably at 11:30am. The carrying strap on the lid is great when you're carrying tons of stuff in your hands. This size also fits perfectly in most backpack water bottle pockets and car drink holders. The only downside, is getting used to the size of the opening. It is a bit wider than what I'm used to so I have definitely spilled on myself when first using it. Also the Lilac colour is definitely more of a dusty pink than a pinky purple. My partner and I each bought one of these and they have been perfect with the addition of a small boot to protect the bottom. We drink significantly more water on a daily basis! I like the white color, but it does get marked easily. Most marks have wiped off easily with a wipe.
I have ordered this item twice already. The first one had scuffs on the paint, and the second one I bought as a replacement had a small but very noticeable dent left of the logo (and also some scuffs, not pictured). I don't know if this is due to manufacturer's quality for this specific item, or if the Dick's warehouse didn't follow proper product handling protocols, but I haven't had this issue when buying items of this brand in-store. Very frustrating. Beware if buying online!
