After a few days of wearing and trying different routines, I am really starting to like the Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation by Huda Beauty. The first time I used I had a bit of mixed feelings and realized I needed to change my normal routine. Since my skin is so reactive to touch and I deal with chronic hives, I usually prep my skin first thing when I wake up, and wait to do my sunscreen, primer and makeup after my skin has calmed down. My skin is very dry and this foundation is a bit drying as well if I do not apply to a freshly moisturized skin, as it needed the extra hydration. Since my skin is so reactive to touch and I deal with chronic hives, I usually prep my skin first thing when I wake up, and wait to do my sunscreen, primer and makeup after my skin has calmed down. My skin is very dry and this foundation is a bit drying as well if I do not apply to a freshly moisturized skin, as it needed the extra hydration. This may not be an issue if you have the accompany primer, I do not, but doing my skincare at the same time helped tremendously and resulted in my skin looking beautiful, opposed to the cakey foundation that settled into lines the first time I used. I was also shocked at how well this covered my redness and hives even hours after applying, which I have rarely found in foundations. I set this with powder and a setting spray and easily went eight hours looking the same as when I applied. I even wore this to the pool the other day and laid out in the hot sun, reapplied sunscreen and this foundation somehow managed to still look great. I was a little nervous about my color choice because I picked a cool tone and it looked too yellow out of the package on me, but after I blended and let it set, it became more neutral cool and matched my skin. I imagine this will work even better for those with normal or oily skin types, as it is a bit less dewy than other formulations. This does contain niacinamide which is not for everyone, and does cause me small breakouts if I use too many days in a row, so I will rotate this foundation. Overall, I do really like the finish and will pick up the primer in the near future to see if it helps this lay even better on my naturally dry skin.
