HSBC Card off | TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 8GB/512GB 5G Smartphone Midlight Blue

1. Has eSim, 1x SIM, dedicated micro Sdcard slot, barometer & Android 14.2. The speaker is not good, musics sounds unnatural. Loudness is medium.3. The TCL supplied pen and flip case looks good but no magnetic flip & is thin. May not last long. The pen is sucked in with a strong magnet, so it won't drop out.4. Can't find any 3rd party flip casing with a pen holder.OVERALL IS A GOOD BUY.SELLER IS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I really liked many features of this phone. First thing being the easy set up. You can transfer all your accounts in minutes at no hassle at all. Very good for the less tech savvy. Its easy and quick. The storage is brilliant! The marble back. I’d of liked this in more colour options such as white but it really was a nice different touch. The camera quality was brilliant. I have a higher branded phone and the camera is not as good as this one. It has all newer features such as Face ID, finger print unlock ect at a budget range price. I loved the privacy screen so anyone sat next to you can’t peer over and see what you’re doing. I like that you can choose your search engine such as chrome, Google ect. It’s quick and not laggy. I love the kindle feel screen however ... MoreI really liked many features of this phone. First thing being the easy set up. You can transfer all your accounts in minutes at no hassle at all. This is a great phone. Nice size screen, you can also switch between different viewing modes which may help with tech headaches for some people. The camera is pretty decent too. Screen has a nice matte feel to it almost like touching paper. Battery lasted a very long time didn’t have to charge till the next evening. Has a huge amount of 512gb storage to save all your photos and videos etc.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DEAL

Really nice handset at AMAZING price, especially with the FREE tablet offer. Although a large phone it fits in the hand well (small/medium) as it is not as wide as my Pixel7 Pro or Samsung A34. It runs a fairly stock version of Android so is very similar to using my Pixel7 Pro. Any bloatware is easily uninstalled. Screen is responsive BUT THE BEST thing is the ability to put it into any one of 3 modes. The NEXTPAPER is truly out of this world in this respect. I use my phone a lot for emails and internet. Although my other phones are great phones their bright and clear screens do affect my eyes after long use, the TCL appears at first instance to have less effect on my eyes so it's perfect. FYI - TCL have amazing customer service as I decided to buy my wife one of their Nextpaper tablets (the same one that you get free, so we have one each) as a result of getting this phone. The tablet is equally amazing. If you like e-reader screens you live these ones. That said, the screen in normal mode is super, I love the matt screen. There's nothing to dislike about this phone at this price point. If I had any observation to make this even better would be the inclusion of a suitable pen, I purchased a T pen with the aforementioned tablet and it doesn't work with the phone screen. I note they do a cheaper one, hopefully that will work with the phone. QVC purchase and delivery was good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Comfort Meets Capabilities in the TCL 50 Pro NXTP.

The Good: The TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G 512GB shines as an excellent backup phone. It's lightweight and the comfortable reading screen is a standout feature. Battery life is impressive, offering long hours of usage. Additionally, the inclusion of e-sim compatibility is a pleasant surprise, especially considering the affordable price point. The Bad: While it has many positives, there are some drawbacks. The range of available accessories is limited. It’s not designed for heavy gaming, and the camera performs adequately only in good lighting conditions.

Cool matte screen (kindle/Samsung frame feel)

I love this phone. It has a screen similar to a Samsung frame tv or kindle so glare free and feels nice to touch.I love that you can at a switch of a side button turn the phone to an e-reader too.Something a little different and a great choice if you want to try something quirky!Only downfall is finding a phone case for the phone as it doesn't come with one and the ones sold online are missing the cut-out for one of the buttons. Hoping once the phone has been out for longer there will be available cases.Great affordable phone and fun to use.Would recommend 👌

Excellent display Phone

TCL 50 Pro is a surprisingly good phone for the price. While the phone may not have intrusive AI that is found in high end phones, the basic operation is on-par with high end phones. I found that the display is excellent with Colour paper and Max ink modes. It's really easy on my eyes when using it, I found that the colour paper is always in for my usage. The phone has no noticeable delays in performance for regular use. Overall it's an excellent performer for the price point and often compares with high-end phones. I can't compare the photos with high end phones but for regular use I didn't notice any difference.

Good screen for reading.

I'm a reader, and I don't have any problems with reading digital books on my phone other than being distracted by my reflection and the glare. That's why I chose TCL for my next phone, it's as if it were made just for me! The screen has no glare or reflection, it feels just like paper on my finger tips. The OS features a nice "reading mode" which turns the screen black and white which I keep on all the time. The only problem I found is the touch screen seems slightly inaccurate for my fingers, particularly on small icons, I got around this by changing the settings to large icons. As for other specs like the camera or speakers or processing power, none of that applies to me so I wouldn't know. They work just fine for me.

Great phone

I had three NXT Paper 40 5G before this and although I still prefer the back casing of that one, this is a far superior phone. And it won't break the bank either. Well, if you get it on sale. So, the original price of the NP 40 was £150 approx. This was £229 when I bought it.Twice the camera, a touch more ram, huge storage 512gb.The idea of the paper switch button is a good one, although what's a button press at the top of the screen? Or even a widget to press? Still cool though. When reading a kindle in paper mode, it's a good idea to change the theme (on the kindle app itself) to green. This turns it a better shade of grey and makes it feel even more paper like.

So good!
