HP - 14 Chromebook - Intel Celeron N4120 - 4GB Memory - 64GB eMMC - Mineral Silver - 14A-NA0200NR - 196337746541

I purchased this HP Chromebook as I was preparing for surgery and needed something to play around on while in the hospital. I expected a slow and cumbersome product based on the price... Boy was I wrong! The new Tegra processor is blazing fast and watching movies and playing online games at the same time is flawless. I now use this computer in place of my ASUS 11 inch Windows 8 computer and its performance rivals that of the newest competitors. This is the way to go for internet browsing, movie watching and any other internet related tasks!

The Chromebook is slightly more functional than a tablet. It's compact and has great features such as it's all in one cloud, touch screen and convenience, you don't have to go through a entire log in process everytime you need to use it. For the price, it does the job and holds up great. Professionally this may not cut it for you (depending on the functions you need and storage) but if you need something affordable and reliable its a solid option. I do a lot work and storage has held up but if you want it to remain running at it's optimal speed, do a often clean up.

This is great and easy to use and navigate. It’s great if you are doing basic everyday things on the computer, searches, homework etc. If you are a gamer, I don’t think it’s a good choice. The battery life is very good. I get 4 hrs then it needs to be charged. This will last but unfortunately after about 5 years it won’t receive important updates. You’ll be able to still use it but with a security risk.

I got my laptop about a year ago when my old laptop stopped working. Best decision ever. It has everything I need in one. It works off of Windows. Easy to use and user friendly. Downloading apps is also very easy. The camera quality is great when you need to visit chat. Picture quality is fantastic. My kids use it to see all their favorite movies. I really love it. Its thin and not heavy at all. I got it in mint. I definitely recommend it.

I love my chromebook PC by HP because it loads quickly, runs great and I can multi-task whenever I need. Not only do I use this for work purposes, but my kids play their favorite games too. You know this is good if you have over 15 pages loaded at the top that you haven't closed and it still runs smoothly. The price was reasonable for what I was looking for with my PC. I love the color and how light weight it is. I definitely would recommend this model.

Not a happy camper with this purchase. It's my fault for not researching the incredibly limited memory and operating system of this chromebook. Utterly useless to me as it's designed to connect to your home computer or laptop without the needed storage space on said chrome book. Meaning you can't run windows or other operating systems. You can barely add any programs to the unit. It comes with Microsoft 365, but it's a joke. This is a laptop for a 5 year old. Not even joking. My Samsung Smartphone has more get up and go than this really unfortunate product. Would absolutely not buy again.

Wish I would’ve known this crucial information before making the purchase…..so Chromebooks have a “Best By Date” so to speak. This means that after this “BBD” arrives which is about 2 years, the Chromebook software will no longer update, thus rendering it almost useless considering most electronics require updates to keep up with the ever changing technology. I say “almost” useless because while my BBD has come and gone, I can still use the laptop but without certain apps due to them not being able to update. So eventually I won’t be able to use the Chromebook at all. Would not recommend!

Chromebook

It's quick to set up burt don't like the fact that you have to have a login for google to keep your settings. I use this for patients at my business and to have to use my personal login and record everywhere they go is not an option. Each time you login as a guest you will have to reset any changes you want including brightness of the display and power settings. It will store nothing if you are not logged in.

Great price

Heavier than my older slimmer Asus, but amazing price. Works great and is cloud based. Very long charging cable so great for mobile work. Only con is the ports. It has one USB and one type c as well as a useless 3rd port. Had to buy an adapter to add more ports, because I like using a wireless mouse

I Can’t Open it.

Got it opened. Looked around. Disappointed no DVD or CD slot or included player. The next time I attempted sign-in it wouldn’t accepted my password or at least let me reset it. Soooo…I have never been able to open it again. It sits unused. I have pushed help buttons etc.—Nothing. It’s been months. I can’t even find out of it is compatible with TurboTax. Last year I bought it instead of upgrading for tax prep. It’s again Time for taxes. Last year I was able to use my previous HP for taxes but Windows not high enough this year. Have to decide if I should put $$ to get this going or write it off as s Bad decision and go buy a new one. So much for trying out something that seemed new and exciting.
