Compact, stable, no sign of nitro finish problems so far. Thanks again.

I've had too many stands over the years, including other Hercules stands. This one is by far the simplest and most practical stand I've had. Let's face it, most of us play tiny bars, clubs, restaurants where even a guitar stand can be tough to place. These have such a small footprint, it's like leaning your guitar on your amp (and no, don't do that!! : ). The width can be adjusted too, and the guitar feels very sturdy in it. I liked the first one I bought so much that I just got another one. Plus, I found that the electric stand works perfectly for my mandolin and dobro too. The only drawback is it won't support all electric body shapes, like Gibson Firebirds, Flying V's, etc. But many stands don't do that either and there are obviously other stands available for that.

I have the 5-guitar Hercules rack stand in my home studio, which is an excellent product, so I really trust the name. But, I needed a single guitar stand to hold a given instrument I was working with plugged in and nearby at the ready, and this seemed to fit the bill so I ordered it.When I first received it, I was amazed at how small it was. That was fine with me, since my studio is packed with equipment and tiny, but I was a bit worried about stability. I've had everything from a Strat to a Jazz bass on it, and it's solid as a rock.Definitely would not hesitate to buy this product again.

Does what it says: very sturdy, nothing of the flimsiness one would expect from traditional guitar holders. The guitar is very safe on it and it folds nicely to save space. Very happy with it and I have bought another one for my other guitar.
Great product. I use these for my Gibson, Ernie Ball Music Man(s... Men?) and Fenders. Guitars and basses. It holds both with no issues. The jazz bass takes a little getting used to due to its offset body design but the stand holds it fine. I use these stands for practice and gigs.
Overall the product is great. Collapses easily for transport to a gig or rehearsal. Issue I had was the yoke size. I have a hollow body electric bass almost 3" thick so ordered the acoustic version of this product first. But the yoke was too wide and the guitar tipped back and was unstable. I read that this electric guitar version would hold guitars up to 3.5" thick so bought it, but my guitar did not fit. I was able to bend the prongs back in my vise so my guitar now just fits. So be aware of your guitar width.
I bought this for my Jazz Bass. It's a compromise since the hanging stands I've tried don't hold the headstock well (not a symmetrical headstock). It will hold the Jazz Bass, but it is quite a bit off center, and a little small for a larger instrument. Using it, but still looking...
These stands are extremely sturdy. I use them on and off stage as resting platforms for electric and bass guitars in a touring band. They fold up nicely and are easy to transport. I think they are more user friendly than the other short Hercules stands. Having bought two of these and trialled them in different settings I'll be buying another couple to replace the other stands we currently use. Great value. Strong. Reliable.
I bought this because my old stand took up slightly too much space in my small home studio. This one is great and it feels very solid and sturdy. The foam seems pretty good to me- it holds my strat-shaped guitar snugly in place. Not much else to say. I'm happy with my purchase.
