A great jacket for cold, wet, windy days. A pity it doesn't have a bigger colour range to choose from, and an internal chest pocket would be fabulous. But really overall, a super jacket.

I bought this for a trip to Scotland at Christmas time. We haven't had those frigid, wet temps here yet, but plenty of chilly rain. I stay dry inside, although I sweat if it's above 50 degrees. Going to be an excellent choice for winter weather! The soft lined collar and pockets are a plus. The hood is generous and stays up. I don't have a problem with blocking my vision as someone else commented. Elastic cuffs keep the rain out of my sleeves.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, clean lines. Great price point without breaking the bank. My only wish is that it had a few inner pockets. It is also a tad snug in the hip area, but it still works for me. Also cased on other reviews I ordered a larger size and was able to layer underneath. Just wore it for a week while vacationing on the Oregon coast and it broke in beautifully.
I bought two...one for my mother as a birthday gift and the other for myself. I ordered a size large for both of us. For reference, I am 5'9'' and 160lbs. My mother is 5'4'' and 130lbs.I would consider sizing up, I usually wear a medium size in jackets and this one runs a bit small. Also, the lining inside isn't super warm, so sizing up is recommended to layer underneath. Very flattering fit and love the stark white!
Hi, I first ordered size S (Aden jacket). When I received it and tried it on, I found it was too big for me. I'm 1,63 m. The sleeves were too long and I had too much room, not enough fitted. I just received a the smaller size, XS, but now it's a bit tight, specially around my hips. I have already paid for the return shipping once so I think I'll keep the size XS. I didn't order from the official website and I probably receive the old version (the one with the scratches on the wrist, which is better I think). Same comment than others for the hood (it doesn't stay folded). Otherwise the quality seems great. I'm waiting now to try it when it will be pouring out there. I think the cut and the sizing could be improved.
I am a teacher and was looking for an all weathers coat for travel, play time and lunch duties in the colder weather. This coat has breathable materials, is cosy and waterproof. It's close fitting. Ideal if you wear light jumpers or tops so can go from inclement weather to heated inside classrooms. Perfect.
This coat is stylish yet it does what it says on the tin. It keeps me warm and dry without being bulky. The hood is the best fitting hood I have ever had. It is not overly large so it flops down over my eyes but is large enough to keep the rain off my glasses.I wear it without the furry attachment on the hood. I am delighted with this product. It would have been slightly better if it had a two way zipper as it is quite straight in the body and therefore a little bit restrictive when sitting in it when fastened.Other than that I am delighted with my coat.
I bought this to replace a jacket that i had for a few years that died after one too many washes. I loved that jacket and this one seemed like it was the same style. But its just too big. The extra small is baggy and doesnt have the same fitted waist as the previous jacket. The hide-a-way hood seems different and is slightly more bulky.Despite the differences this is a great quality jacket. Lightweight and non plasticy feeling. No rustling like a plastic bag, like some other rain jackets. This has great wind proofing and water resistance. Its great.Its the same ...but different.
I bought a Women's Aden Jacket to replace my alltime favorite windbreaker/rain jacket. The best thing the new jacket has going for it is fit -- it's a really attractive jacket. Unfortunately, HH chose to redesign a few things that worked great and didn't need fixing. (1) Snaps instead of velcro on the wrists and front zipper. Snaps might be okay for the front zipper, but are a really bad idea for the wrists -- now you're stuck with two fixed sizes and neither of them allows a lot of flexibility. (2) there is no velcro or snap to keep the rain hood under the neck flap. That means when you're running or riding the hood puffs out and can come fully out if you're really on the move.
