This is a wonderful toilet cleaner. However, if you have any limescale, it turns this black and cannot be removed by brushing. Thank goodness I found Harpic zero which removed the unsightly stain very quickly after some brushing.

My husband regularly uses bleach with an old toothbrush to clean the grout in our shower cubicle. The first time he used this he noticed immediately that it just isn't the same. I normally buy Domestos but it was out of stock, so bought this. With the latter, grime and mould disappear immediately, but this Harpic just didn't do the job. Back to my favourite, I think.

I've used Harpic White & Shine bleach with Bicarbonate of Soda for years and would highly recommend it. Unfortunately the shop where I used to buy it closed down and it's difficult to get it in any other shops unless I go out of town. I was very pleased to see that I could buy in a multi-pack for a very reasonable price. It will keep me going for a few months'! I highly recommend this product. It's much better that ordinary bleach and does a wonderful job of keeping my toilet clean and smelling fresh.
I am a regular user of this Harpic product. It keeps my toilets white and well sanitised, but you have to be careful not to spill any of the liquid on the toilet lid: it is very strong and will damage the surface of the toilet lid.
At last Ocado decides to bring back the best loo cleaner, White and Shine! A bit miffed at the price increase though,wow, used to be £1..!! Inflation at it's best. Will be stocking up when on offer.
I like that it is a clear toilet cleaner well its kind of milky in colour not clear like domestos, but still white so doesnt leave colour streaks in your toilet bowl. Does it work any better than domestos? not entirely convinced but as most toilet cleaners seem to be blue, green, yellow or pink this seems a good one to go to if domestos is ever unavailable.
I really wish I could spurn this product, with its harsh, environmentally unfriendly ingredients, and say that some eco alternative, or even a non-bleach one, are as good... but no chance! This is truly in a class of its own. Hideous yellowy scale that has resisted every other product on the shelf and endless scrubbing is suddenly gone and, with occasional use of this powerful stuff, stays away. And, worst of all - for me and my environmental consciousness, that is - I love the distinctly, though not overpoweringly, bleachy smell. Makes me think 'clean bathroom', as opposed to 'cheap perfume', which is what most other loo liquids smell of these days. Harsh chemicals or not, there's no going back from this one, I'm afraid - I just try to use less frequently.
I have always used Harpic and have always wanted to buy it in bulk as I use it for both bathrooms. This price was great and I could get both sets as I also ordered the lemon one. Both came in plenty of time and have already put them to good use. Would definitely recommend buying in bulk rather than individually.
So much better than any other product I've used so far. This combination of baking soda and bleach is really powerful and cleans the toughest stains you may have in your toilet. A plus is that the smell is really pleasant and subtle beside all the chemicals. I will just continue to buy the other toilet liquids (lavanda version) to alternate with this one as they have a more intense fragrance. A part from it, this is the ONE. No competitor can compete with this quality I'm afraid. Well dome Harpic!
