A little late but expected.

I purchased a hario kettle, aeropress and v60 dripper which was all in good condition when it arrived and it was packaged really well. Late to arrive but I expected to be late because i know it would pass the customs. But as far as my order is concerned, it was a pretty great purchase. I highly recommend their store if you’re in to coffee. Will purchase again if i need something for my coffee brewing.

Genuine Quality

Don't risk getting a cheap know-off off on Amazon or eBay. It's not worth the savings and the headache. Get real Japanese quality that will last you a lifetime. Sturdy, durable, portable, versatile. Love my 500mL Hario as it is the perfect size for a single brew. Control your pour without compromising on quality.

Would not recommend, unfortunately

Unfortunately, I would not recommend buying through Alternative Brewing. I did not have a good experience.I purchased a Hario Kettle and upon arrival I discovered unknown key information about the product. Alternative Brewing’s product page stated that the handle was made of resin (it was actually made of metal) and the kettle worked on electric heating (upon opening the box, Hario excluded induction heating). Alternative Brewing’s product page did not state that the kettle was unsuitable for induction heating.Lastly, the product page missed the fact that Hario states, “The handle is made of metal, so it gets very hot when boiling water. Do not touch the kettle directly, and always use pot-holder, mittens, etc. when handling it”. Alternative Brewing offered the refund, however, refused to pay postage back. I believe this was unfair, as Alternative Brewing’s product page was missing the above key information on the kettle. I wouldn’t have bought the kettle if I knew of these facts.Jack, the Alternative Brewing representative, was not apologetic about the missing information, unfortunately. I spoke with Jack and requested a way to provide further feedback and a complaint to Alternative Brewing. This request was ignored twice. I do not think this is fair or a helpful way to provide a service. I payed return postage and received the refund for the kettle. However, after this experience and how I was treated, I will unfortunately avoid shopping with Alternative Brewing in the future.- James W
