Nice, thick, soft and warm. I typically wear a medium but bought a large. When I first put it on it was really big and the arms hung down too far. After washing it shrink up to the perfect size. Roomy and comfortable. I absolutely love these sweatshirts. They embroider very nice. No pilling issues and remains soft after several washes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality sweatshirt to embroider or just to wear plain.

My son asked me to get a couple of new hoodies for work by the next day, so I went to three local stores and, it being end of season and his size of xl, I was only able to find two, both popular, trendy brands. When I got home I went online to find a couple more because they seemed a little flimsy for work, wasn’t sure how well they’d hold up to constant laundering. I found these Hanes hoodies, paid less than a third of what I’d paid for the two I bought, and they are FAR superior quality; they are sturdy and warm and I intend to snatch one of them for myself. 😄

I bought these hoodies in red and royal blue and they look great! They are well made with Hanes high quality materials and workmanship. They are the perfect thickness, they fit true to size, plus they can stretch out a little bit for extra comfort. I also have enough room to layer them over a t-shirt for extra warmth. I definitely recommend these hoodies!

Nice and cozy warm material. But I do find the length a bit short. I'm 5'11" of normal stature and I feel exposed when I bend over. I'd like to see about 4 inches added to the length so my back is covered when I sit or bend over. I should think size 2XL should provide that. I just wish the industry would get their heads out of the square cut box and provide extra length (big and tall) or half oval flap in the back especially on tuck-in shirts like some better brands used to.
It's the kind of quality you would expect from Hanes - nice material, seems well stitched and is just the right thickness for warmth. It fits true to size and the material stretches just enough to be able to make it comfortable for your curves, especially if you layer it over a t-shirt like I do. I love the royal blue and the red colored hoodies, they are bright and vibrant. I definitely recommend these hoodies!
I thought the purple color was very nice and bright. The teal color was … teal. And the white was fairly white. A little more off-white. But the pink was a little too muted for my taste. I like pastel pink; but this was a little dull shade of pink. The reason I returned them was because when I ordered them I didn’t know what “EcoSmart” meant. As soon as I found out what it was - made from recycled plastic - I returned them. I never even took them out of the package.
Gray color was "on sale" for $11.89, so I bought it as I can always use an extra sweatshirt/hoodie when working outdoors in fall/winter. This hoodie is surprisingly disappointing compared to a similar low-cost hoodie from the fruit-of-the-loom brand. First, the inside was less soft. Second, it was a little lighter weight. This hoodie is certainly NOT "heavyweight." Third, the hole for your head was considerably smaller. Surprisingly, my eyeglasses almost pulled off my face when putting on this hoodie.Regarding sizing, I ordered large even though I am average height and thin. Hoodie shrank considerably after first wash.Shrinkage can be felt lengthwise and in the chest. Sleeves also shrank but it was minimal. Ordered my true to size for a relaxed, loose fit. Now it fits a little more snug than anticipated, comparable to the EcoSmart hoodie, with just a little more room. Because of the shrinkage, it would be a good base layer when layering. These hoodies are thicker than the EcoSmart counterparts. It would be a good idea to order a size larger to maintain loose fit.
The sweater is def not the one as seen in photo. I received an almost all white colored hoodie. It has some small specks of gray hues but its def not the one as seen.... I unfortunately have to make due and cannot return as I needed it to create a costume with and had a deadline to which I would have missed had I returned it. It also had small stains on the strings along with the hoodie part of the jacket to which I had to remove myself. Just very inconvenient.
I ordered one of these in a large Purple and loved it. So I went to order the exact same thing and they sent me a small neon orange one. The paperwork even said large purple in the packaging. clearly people are not paying attention when they're packaging these items. this is the second item I have bought from Walmart in a week that they've sent the wrong item.
