Godox V1 TTL Round Head Flash For Olympus/Panasonic
Compatible with TTL Olympus and Panasonic Wireless X System 2.4G - range 100m Master or Slave Features Offering a powerful 76Ws output along with a distinct design, the Godox V1 Flash is an advanced light source with features that clearly reflect the current state of the industry. Compatible with Olympus/Panasonic TTL, this flexible on-camera light is distinguished by its round head, which provides soft, smooth light with gradual fall off that augments the flattering output. The head rotates 330 degrees, tilts -7 to 120, and has a magnetic surface for lightning-fast attachment of Godox's accessory light modifiers. The V1 is powered by a removable 2600mAh lithium-ion battery that will give you up to 480 full-power flashes on a charge, so you don't miss any of the action. Speaking of speed, the V1 recycles to full power in just 1.5 seconds, fast enough to keep up with your subject. It also supports High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec, for managing bright backgrounds and shooting with wide apertures, and the V1 supports front and rear-curtain sync. The V1 has an optical slave but it's also got a built-in 2.4 GHz receiver, which accepts wireless signals from Godox X System transmitters. In fact, you can control up to four wireless groups in a master/slave configuration whereby settings made on the V1 are duplicated on the slave flashes. Other convenience features include an AF assist lamp, a 3200K LED modeling lamp, and a 2.5mm port for cabled triggering.

Love this speed-lite! Fantastic is the best word I could find to describe it. It works seamless with the Godox xPro trigger, AD200, AD400 Pro, AD600 Pro and the round head kit. With the release of the V-11C and V-11T gel kit you have all you need to be truly creative. It can also serve as an on camera master to trigger other of camera Godox speed-lites and strobes.
While there is some level of hype in regards to the round head, like it's sibling speed lights the V1 is an outstanding performer. The round head does allow for some really nice attachments and its modeling light is handy. It works well when grouped with other Godox speed lights. The TTL performs ably with in my case I use the Olympus E-1 Markiii. In most cases I much prefer to use the manufacture's accessories but the Godox in my experience is a superb product at an affordable price point.
I have purchased many flash units over the years. When I purchased the Olympus OM D-EM1 I bought the Olympus Flash. The Godox is far superior to the Olympus flash. In using it so far I have experienced better coverage, better TTL, faster recycle time, and more flashes per battery (the Godox Unit is rechargeable). I would suggest that when purchasing this Godox you purchase the accessory kit...it contains all you need for flash modification and you are provided a fantastic storage pouch for all modifiers. It is well worth the price. I could see expanding this system to use for portrait work by purchasing the on camera electronic trigger system. The Godox contains unbelievable electronic possibilities. This company has thought of everything. For the price it is the ... MoreI have purchased many flash units over the years. When I purchased the Olympus OM D-EM1 I bought the Olympus Flash. Overall I’m really liking these flashes and I’ve used them for years on Sony with the flashpoint r2 lithium minis, Godox ad200s and flashpoint evolv200s. But with the Panasonic S1 and S1Rs, they have a shutter delay. If you want TTL, then you need the Olympus/Panasonic version. But they have a delay. If you don’t need TTL and you can run all manual, then the Fuji versions work great on the S1 ... I’m hoping this can be resolved because I would love to use the pana version and have TTL when needed. Not sure if the problem is on the Panasonic end or with Godox/Flashpoint, but someone needs to get it resolved.
Perfect "friend" for my EM1 II
I purchased a Godox V1 flash and some associated gear from HyPop. I knew little about Godox products. HyPop were excellent, very knowledgeable of the product and friendly. The whole transaction was most pleasant. I highly recommend HyPop. Steve Mullarkey.
I've really enjoyed the results with the Godox V1 Flash on the Panasonic GH5.Since I'm new to photography in general and even newer to flash photography, I was searching for a great value. After watching many online reviews comparing it to similar lights, it was purchased. What a great decision! We do mostly video, so this has been paired with a Godox FV150 continuous led/flash hybrid, and for someone that is learning (flash) I was impressed with the results. I've attached a photo I took for a mother/daughter combo before they went to a wedding this past weekend.I made mistakes in the photo a pro wouldn't make (which a pro will immediately notice)In the mother/daughter image you can see the hot spot from the FV150 (it was on the left with a light dome mini II) ... I was blown away with how these turned out compared to my smart phone. Highly recommend the Godox V1.
