I recently picked one of these up from Repco to install into our Polaris Ranger (side by side/ATV) for on the farm. It is great for this. I run other GME gear that is twice the price and you can tell the difference in quality, mainly in the handpiece and the mounting bracket which is plastic. Discovering that was a major disappointment. Unfortunately due to the bracket being plastic it flexes a bit and isn't overly sturdy. Otherwise, easy to use and not bad on sale @ $250 for a good quality, reliable unit.

Neat little radio I never realised that it never had provision for an external speaker so I have not used it for the job that I originaly purchased it for but it will be used in another vehicle that is a lot quieter
