I recently tried Glad Cling N Seal and I'm very impressed with its performance. The wrap is very sticky and adheres tightly to containers, which is great for keeping food fresh. I also like how easy it is to tear off a piece of wrap without it getting stuck to itself. The wrap is strong and doesn't tear easily, which is important when wrapping food with sharp edges. I appreciate that it's microwave safe, which makes it convenient for reheating leftovers. Overall, I think Glad Cling N Seal is a reliable and effective wrap that I will continue to use.

I have been using this product for years and it works great! It is much better than regular plastic wrap of any brand. It sticks to dishes and pans. When Press n Seal first came out, there was a television commercial claiming that a sheet of it covering a bowl of food would stay on and keep food inside bowl even if it were turned upside down. I had to test this claim. I made a large bowl of pudding. I covered it with a sheet of Press n Seal and turned bowl upside down. It worked! I don't recommend doing this with heavy foods like pasta or meat dishes or foods very liquid like soup. I've never tested Press n Seal on bowls of these food types because I'm not so sure that the Press n Seal would stay attached to bowl and keep food inside.

Sometime in the past year, I wrote a letter to you stating that your Press’NSeal is the easiest food wrap on the market for people with low vision to use. It is easier for us to feel the edges. Thank you! Your Holiday Series is even easier for those like me with a tiny amount of remaining central vision. The bright patterns helps to see the wrap better. At that time, I made the suggestion of adding a generic pattern year round. I suggested scattered polka dots. I was delighted to find your Design Series at Target, with no less than multi-colored, scattered polka dots!!! Thanks a million. Yesterday, I brought some to a low vision support group. They were all ready to stop at Target and buy some for themselves. I gave my sample to the group leader and she is planning ... MoreSometime in the past year, I wrote a letter to you stating that your Press’NSeal is the easiest food wrap on the market for people with low vision to use. I have been using Glad Press'N Seal for over a decade. I love the product's ability to seal on bowls, half-melons, and other containers and food items that traditional wrap is just not as well-suited to.But I have had an issue cutting with the recent "improved" plastic edge cutter, or "cutting bar". It did not every seem to work for me, and tore and stretched instead of cutting. However, I watched the Glad press'n seal instructional video on you tube and followed the behavior there, and learned how to use the cutting bar correctly to get a clean edge. The solution is to follow the behavior of the person in the video when removing a sheet from the box.The trick is: after pulling out some wrap and closing the box, do NOT jerk quickly... The solution is to follow the behavior of the person in the video when removing a sheet from the box.The trick is: after pulling out some wrap and closing the box, do NOT jerk quickly... I understand we do often learn to tear quickly on regular plastic wrap to get a clean cut, but it does not work on Press'N Seal with the plastic cutter. With the Press'N Seal plastic cutter bar, you must pull Slow, Firm, and Even, without jerking on the plastic sheet. Yes, even with a used bent cardboard box cover, if you pull at an upward angle, slowly and firmly, the sheet will tear evenly off without stretching or warping the wrap.I hope knowing how to use the cutting bar helps some people to use the press'n seal wrap more effectively.I think Glad should say something to clarify this in the instructions on their box, like "Pull smoothly to cut an even sheet. To avoid warping the sheet, do not jerk quickly."
I use it to keep food fresh, including salads. The secret is knowing how to use it. I've found that the best way to tear it off the roll is quickly and firmly. If you pull to slowly for softly, there will not be enough force to beak the molecules in the material. It's a very strong wrap! And the adhesive material has to be effective and strong enough to hold liquids from seeping. The only negative I have is that recently, the adhesive is not as effective when starting a new roll, nor does it last until the very end of the roll. I hope they don't allow comments about the adhesive to make it less-adhesive. This wrap is so great that you can't even smell cut onion in butter or anything, even after several days in the frig.
Have been a user of Press&Seal film since it came out, absolutely love how well it sticks to itself, to paper plates and plastic food storage containers and just about everything else. But the dispenser is simply AWFUL. It does not do its basic job, which is holding the roll of film and allowing smooth cutting. I don’t know why you had to reduce cost or reduce components, but you have ruined a great product. So disappointed to have to switch away, I cannot deal with the dispenser anymore.
I originally got this to help cover surgical site during showers, it worked good but I had some left. It works GREAT to cover open top drinks while outside and you can poke a little hole for a straw or simply fold back, sip then recover without much bother, less chance of bugs/debris. I'm always finding new ways to use this Glad Press'n Seal Food Plastic Wrap, it doesn't have to stretch drum tight to hold and cover. This stuff will be in my pantry from now on. I still keep the traditional stretch plastic wrap, wax paper, foil and parchment paper but when you need this stuff it's worth keeping it's special attributes on hand and ready to use!
I have used this product for years and it is great. But the last box I bought had a terrible cutter. The only way I could use was to cut with scissors and that is too burdensome. I wrap things I put in freezer to help with the seal and it works great. But I am searching for another product now due to the cutter on the box. It is too expensive to waste too much because of the cutter. The cutter popped off first time I used and I tried to fasten it back but it came off again. It was good enough to cut the film anyway. You will lose sales if you you don't fix this. Would not recommend with the current cutter. Definitely would if you fix this problem.
I have been using using your product for years. Recently I noticed that the quality of the packaging has declined. I have not written a review previously because I thought they were one-off issues but now I do not. The packaging is poorly designed. The plastic knobs on the ends tend to fall off. The cutting edge does not cut properly and tends to fall off. I would appreciate a refund on my recent purchase. Unfortunately, I would have liked to have other purchases refunded but did not write any reviews previously.
I will never go back to any other. Seals perfectly and doesn't stick togather in a big mess like Saran wrap does. Cuts better too. I use this for everything. We had a lawnmorer nick a hole in PVC housing elec wire. I wrapped it around for a quick fix with rain coming. split empty paper towel roll over the mend and wrapped again. It's still fixed and that was months ago. I'm 76 and this stuff is as versitile as duck tape. Now I keep it in the kitchen, tool shed and barn.
