A great card for 1080p and 1440p gaming, can’t fault it really. I run it with the quiet bios as it makes a microscopic difference to the performance but greatly improves the fan curves making it much quieter. It’s not exactly noisy even on normal mode though, it just ramps the fans up very abruptly. 🙂 in terms of speed I was pleasantly surprised, I can’t overtax it with any of the games I play at the resolutions I’m using. I purchased this card for a 1440p call of duty build, and it has not disappointed so far.Max gpu temp is 54c with hotspot at 62c using the silent bios and stock fan curves.I have in-game settings on medium/high with rt off and see in excess of 150fps with ease. Coil whine is minimal which is a bonus as my Aorus 3070 is rather noisy in comparison.If I had to rate the cards performance I’d say 10/10 (in line and sometime exceeding what I’d expect for a 3060 with the oc bios).. cosmetics would rate at 9/10 losing a point for quite cheap feeling plastic on the shroud, although once in a case it’s not noticeable whatsoever.Thus leading to a recommendation from me, especially with scans highly competitive pricing.

Overall, a great card. My son plays any and all games we wants at 1080p on his 144 Hz monitor w good quality. Not the absolute best for extreme gamers, but for an intro build and regular gaming you can’t go wrong. RGB is constant on all three fans and changes from blue (turquoise) to purple, also on front “Aorus” illumination. 12 gigs of vram should play any game for a quite some time. Card overclocks well and always stay cool. I think this is a solid choice and good recommendation for anyone just getting into gaming.

The 3060 is a rev 2 model with limited hashrate and (for the miners out there), the driver hack does not work! For those interested in mining, it appears to only limit ETH mining.For gaming, the card works as expected, though I have to say that under a full load the temperatures were much higher than expected. The card is big and take up two slots. The clearance at the bottom of the board is millimetres! The weight of the card causes some droop, which is enough to make contact with one of the cables connected at the bottom of the motherboard. I have wedged in a support to stop any physical contact.I am fairly sure that the higher temperatures are caused by a lack of airflow and for this reason I would not recommend this card to anyone with a mATX case/motherboard. I have added a couple of extra fans until I get a larger case and ATX motherboard.Overall, this was a good purchase, good value and good quality.
Was able to follow graphic cards on the MC website for my local store, and when I saw that they had enough of these in I went straight there. I was able to walk in and pick up this card with no stocking issues. It is great to see MC keeping their GPUs at MSRP. Definitely made it worth it to wait until the stock was filled and go and pick it up. The card runs perfectly. With the games that I play, I am able to run them on the highest graphics setting. I have the RGB set for temperature/usage so I can see how hard the card is working, and haven't seen it go past a slight yellow.
Really happy with the quality of this card and the performance. I'm actually not a gamer. I am a software engineer that likes to customize my rig with quality components. This is perfect for my needs along with the occasional Flight Sim gaming session. I've had this for a couple of months now and the system stability has been excellent. I'm not actually a fan of Gigabyte products but I'll have to rethink that after this purchase. Appreciate Microcenter having a reasonable price during a global chip shortage too!

This card has 12GB VRAM, which is important to video editing, although its GPU is not that fast. For gaming you probably should get a graphics card with RTX 3080 or 3090 chips, which have more powerful GPUs.To get 10 bit color space for videos, A Nvidia Graphics card is much better than AMD's graphics card. In video export this card paired with Davinci Resolve Studio or Adobe Premiere Pro has a very similar performance to GTX 3070, 3080 or even 3090 cards. I was skeptical about this gpu as I had not even heard of a 12gb 3060 previously, as even the ti variant only has 8gb. However, this is a legit 12gb gpu. PC recognizes all 12 gigs as does the GeForce Experience app. Phenomenal upgrade from my 2060 6gb and I have been able to go through all my games and update settings to ultra with less than 70% usage. Frames are always over 90 if there is no in-game hard cap. Very satisfied and would recommend the purchase when available.
This card looks great in my opinion. The RTX 3060 from Nvidia is a really great entry-level graphics card that supports Ray Tracing and DLSS. Both new technologies are used to improve game play in a lot of supported game titles. This card is really good and I use it in my personal system. It works great with no issues. I installed the necessary Nvidia Game Ready drivers from Geforce Experience and was ready to go. The 3060 was enough for my gaming needs and also can live stream quite nice. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I am happy to have had the chance to buy this card. I know this shortage is bad, and it took me 5 months of trying, but I got it in the end. Don't give up, your chance will come soon.
So after ordering this last week and receiving it today one day earlier than expected I rushed home to install this in my kid's gaming rig. The RGB fusion app is pretty much worthless because they really didn't think through their use of LED lights on this board. Unlike what the photo looks like in the listing there NO LEDs on the perimeter of the fans. Only LEDs exist in the hub shining out towards a clearish ring around each of the fans. Its unbelievably faint and they really should not have bothered. Slight coil whine from card when under use as well. 4 Year warranty is nice when you register it but its likely needed.
