Giantz 45cc Petrol Commercial Chainsaw Chain Saw Bar E Start Pruning

I find it hard to to be objective in a revue as I have been trying everyday since I received the chainsaw to start the machine. I have only been successful once. I then cut some blocks of wood for about 10 minutes - and I have not been able to start the machine since.

Good performance, Pro features, Great value

Good power to weight and pro features like adjustable carby and oil pump, and large, easy access air filter make this saw a good thing. My carby was way to rich as delivered at an altitude of 600M , temperature of 20oC and a Low pressure weather system . Once H&L were tuned (Not Too Lean!) and idle set, this thing starts, runs and cuts very well indeed. Very Happy!

It does the job

It got the job done.Verry hard to start initially. You have to be verry strong and young to get it started from a cold start. But once started and run for a couple of minutes it does the job.

It's ok for a toy disappointing but

This is okay for small stuff starts easy just lacks power it shouldn't but does price can't complain about that for what it is they say it's got the ccs but I don't think so

Light weight and good manoeuvrable

Product is not good as the e starting does not work as it should. It jumps during zipping the string to start and will not start the engine.

No good

The bar doesn't even fit not happy at all. The adjustment hole in bar doesn't fit the adjustment screw on the chainsaw was looking forward to use it but not anymore Very disappointed Need a new bar that fits asap.

The Good News and the Bad News

On the plus side, the unit is good for small to medium sized limbs. Not too heavy to operate. The inclusion of a fuel priming plunger is a plus. The motor is powerful enough for t he 16" bar. On the negative side, even though it started quickly enough, there was no sign of any decompression phase the rope pull, pulled against the full compression of the cylinder . Maybe E-Start does not mean Easy Start. The main concern which prompted the 2 Star rating was the failure of the bar and chain oil pump to deliver adequate lubrication to the chain causing the chain to seize. Using one third of a tank of fuel only 15 ml of oil was delivered to the bar. At no time did the chain exhibit any nose spray of oil. This information was given to the vendor who replied "It's not always a full tank of fuel uses about a full tank of chain oil. It depends on the fuel and oil and use status. May I confrim if the chain functions fine on the item chainsaw except the oil level going down rate?" This does not inspire confidence. For the cost of under $10, two replacement oil pumps can be purchased. With a bit of luck one of these will work perfectly and so end up with a pretty useful unit.

cheap rubbish

works well for 5 minutes after that wont start and the chain tensioner will not hold constantly tightening

poor quality but cheap

this is my second one ,they dont last long, collapsing inside .this one leaked fuel from the bulb, initially ,but at $75.00 good value, now at $140. dont know. great for the first 5 trees !
