I have installed this winch on a wall in my garage and use it to pull in my caravan. It works perfectly. It has a very generous cable length and is of robust design and construction.
Great product it was really unexpected to get a 240 volt winch that works as well this. I would recommend it anyone I myself will be buying another unit am so happy with one.

Purchased two of these, one of them failed almost immediately. It seems to me that OZPLAZA don't want to know about it, trying ludicrous reason to get out of thier obligations.
This winch is being used as a hoist to tip a 7x5 car trailer up onto its tail, up vertically against against a wall in a warehouse. The winding speed was a bit to fast using the single rope so I utilised the supplied pulley to make it a double rope lift which effectively halves the speed and doubles the lifting capability. The trailer weighs approx 300kg, but it never actually lifts the trailer, just tips it up and holds it vertically. Does this with absolute ease as it should considering it is capable of lifting 600kg in this double rope configuration. I found that the rope does not always wind evenly on the spool which causes it to jump a bit when winding under tension. Overall, an amazing product considering it was just over $150 which included postage (To Tasmania).
Pros: nicely made overall but see below. Good value for money Cons: The actual unit (motor and gearbox) are only held in by 2 x M10 bolts screwed into die-cast aluminium. There is scope for failure here and I have added two straps to hold the unit in case the die-cast threads strip under load.
I'm quite happy with the winch it works well was easy to mount with the supplied fittings , although the control pendant wiring could be longer
