Gardeon Outdoor Storage Box Wooden Garden Bench Chest Toy

The product is advertised as an outdoor item. I suggest it is more suitable as an indoor setting only. The wood is very soft and porous and without a suitable clear sealing paint would deteriorate very quickly if exposed to wet conditions. The lid, which has a water proof plastic sheet fixed to the underside, does not overlap the box and therefore allows water to enter via the sides of the box. The dimensions of the inside of the box could be made larger especially if the legs were shorter.

Really love it, fits well with our space. Didnt feel weather proof so we have oiled the wood. Plus, it doesnt hold much weight, have had to put bricks underneath to support when one average person sits on it as the structure moved quite a lot.

Love it. Looks great, excellent size. Will fit lots of wood for the firepit. Easy to put together. Often hit and miss with cheap furniture but I'm very happy with this one. Haven't yet seen if it holds up in wet weather.

Easy to assemble handy, well finished. A good product with a bargain price. Fast delivery. Looks great on our patio. A really nice piece of furniture.

Base did not fit in as it was too smal and did not fit well. The timber split when rectifying the base. So if you are supporting the base use glue not screws or nails.

I bought 2 of these to store items in. The claims were that they were all-weather and had stainless steel hinges. After one rain event, the lids on both boxes expanded and seperated, revealing staples as the extent of holding this lid together. Also, the hinges started rusting as well, so they weren't stainless steel. This product is not fit for purpose.

Made from very light pine. Expectations from view on web site were that it was made from hardwood. Was let down on arrival. Very expensive for a pine box.

Is meant to be for outdoor use and waterproof. Two days outside and some very light rain and top panel warped and buckled because grooves not watertight. Had to be nailed down and all grooves filled with exterior wood putty followed by 3 coats of marine varnish. Hinges are not rust proof either. Had ordered 2 and when complained was reimbursed $30 for each which barely covered materials needed let alone the extra labour to rectify.

For the price it is pretty good - few imperfections in the wood and assembly instructions were average (but OK). Did have quite a strong smell when taken out of the box so if buying for inside I would plan on leaving it outside for a couple of weeks to air out first. Using to keep shoes at door and does the job well plus a good place to sit.

Outdoor Storage Box

Good quality and easy to assemble. Holds all my garden small tools and tubs of garden fertiliser. Spade and fork also fir into the box. Looks good and provides an extra seat.
