The leather feels like wet cardboard and very thin. Would not recommend embossing as it makes it look even cheaper. Fossil has nice leather wallets- so look at one of the other styles. This one is a hard pass.

This is a solid quality wallet. I gifted it to my husband for Christmas. He loves the look of it. It holds all the important stuff but encouraged him to pair down the things he doesn't need. His favorite part was the embossing. I had his initials embossed for free. I'd definitely encourage taking advantage of that because it really takes this wallet up a level and makes for a great gift.

For whatever reason, I am very hard on wallets and can't get them to last more than a couple years. That is until I bought a Fossil wallet. This is my second one. The first one lasted 7 years and to tell the truth it's still in great condition other than the see thru ID holder that ripped due to my own fault. I expect to be just as happy with my new one because it appears that Fossil did not cheapen their product from 7 years ago. Awesome quality!

This came in a besutiful metal box - great for a present. The leather is very soft. It really looks great. The engraving makes it that little extra special.
I ordered this wallet for my valentine and added embossing to it, plus I asked for a gift wrap and paid extra for expired delivery since it was close to Valentine's Day. The package came in the mail and I opened it, the gift wrapping was lame and sloppy, I opened to see embossing on the wallet and there was nothing there. The only reason I wanted to get this wallet was the ability to get it embossed, I saw it in store but they told me I have to get it online if I want it embossed. So here I was, the day before Valentine's Day with a bland wallet I could've picked it my self from the store and not paid over $10 for fast delivery and horrible wrapping.
Got this for my boyfriend's birthday, and while the wallet itself was nice quality leather, the embossing was flaky and also slightly crooked. I got it right before his birthday so I didn't have time to request it to be redone, but luckily my boyfriend isn't as detail oriented as I am and he still loved it. Good overall, and can't complain too much because it wasn't any additional charge, but it would be nice if the quality of the embossing matched the quality of the wallet. (Also came fairly quickly, ~6 days)
In the picture online this product looks to be a reddish brown as the color of it sounds. However, it is purple. But just dark purple but bright lavender purple. I also got it engraved for my partner and mines anniversary so now I cannot return it and am just sort of stuck with it not knowing if I should give him a PURPLE wallet or not. I've never had issues with Fossil before and love this brand however this wallet is by far one of the worst purchases I have ever made.
I purchased the Black Neel Flip ID Bifold wallet as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. Upon receiving my order in the mail, I was extremely disappointed with the product I received. I had added on the free embossing(his initials) onto the inside of the wallet and they embossed the wrong initials onto the wallet. The product itself was nice, but it did not make up for the mistake. Unfortunately, because of the incorrect embossing, I was not able to give my boyfriend his anniversary gift on time like I should have been able to.
I absolutely hate carrying a wallet. I carry 2 credit cards, a debit card and my ID. That's it. And normally like $40 in cash. With just that in it, this wallet is beyond slim and tiny. I love it. And the magnetic clip is strong enough to snap the finger off that kid you don't like who always messes with your stuff so your cash isn't going anywhere. I highly recommend it. And for $32 you can't go wrong.
It was a gift for my boyfriend who complained about thick, oversized wallets that didn't fit in his front pants pockets. The leather is soft and thin but high quality, great amount of slots for cards, ID and assorted receipts or cash. It folds up quite small and doesn't mark like his other wallets from keys or change. The navy colour is classier than I expected. For this price, you cannot go wrong.
