Formula 10.0.6 Sea Side Glow Skin Hydrating Peel Mask 100ml

Well, I mostly like this Peel Mask, but I don't like its texture. It's not easy to apply it and it looks really weird on my face. It's better to apply a thin layer, that will be enough. If you're gonna add extra layer it will take a little bit more time to dry. It's easy to pill the mask off - there's nothing that can hurt your skin (no redness at all) as it happens sometimes with other masks like this one. The effect is great - my skin looks really nice. It's fresh, glow, moisturized. The scent is nice and I actually like it. I don't know how to describe it - first, I thought that it's a scent of cucumber, but then I decided that it smells like some perfume. This face mask is pretty good…. I personally don’t care for peel off masks but this one specifically I don’t mind too much. I actually did notice an increase in moisture and hydration to my skin after using this mask. I also like that it peels off very easily doesn’t cause pain like some peel off masks. If I was more patient I would probably use this regularly I just hate waiting so long for it to dry. But it is a good mask.

Really got into peel off masks lately on days I'm not feeling my sheet mask/clay (plus already had product from same brand) so I leaned tword this product to next purchase. It's a nice peel off for any home spa day or times whenever you need to pamper yourself.. It doesn't smell horrible or feel like adhesive to your face as some peel offs do. It seems safe enough to be gentle for sensitive skin as well in my opinion price was on point at under ten dollars! 💗

as someone with super sensitive skin, i have to say this mask is amazing! unlike most face masks i’ve tried, this one doesn’t burn and when it comes off it makes my face feel actually clean! (my roomate even came in right after i used it one day and said my skin looked, and i quote, “super healthy”) i’m also not the biggest fan of scents, but this one isn’t overpowering at all! 10/10 would reccomend :))

Amazing peel off exfoliant - packaging could be clearer.

Something I think alot of people failed to read in this mask is "peel." It's a peel. A chemical peel. This is literally a chemical peel, just poorly marketed and possibly misbranded. Before I go into this more though, here's some quick tips for people who won't read the entire review: - Use a THIN layer. It peels beautifully when you only put a thin film - You HAVE to rinse it thoroughly off, it's a non-gentle chemical exfoliant and a fairly gentle astringent (read this part twice, and read the instructions) - Only leave it on for the specified time (10 minutes) - If your skin barrier is weakened by anything, wait to use this until it has healed - If you have dry skin, don't use this lol, this is 100% for oily skin - Put a semi occlusive moisturizer on after. I suggest Cetaphil. CeraVe recently reformulated and it will make your skin sting. Long analysis: This is a chemist's skincare line, lol. A chemist from 1933. Some of these older companies don't know the lingo of 2014+, plus putting the word "chemical" on anything but the ordinary's products is a surefire way to tank a product. This is a chemical peel with very gentle (comparatively) results. It is chock full of soothing marine ingredients, but it is still going to be harsh! This product is adjacent to the ordinary peeling solution, just very very mild. Treat it as such. It's not a mud mask, it's not a for-fun mask. It's not even a moisturizing mask, it is hydrating, which is different. It plumps the skin from within, but dries out the outer layer. This is great - if this is what you are going for. This product exfoliates well and makes your skin more able to absorb actives in the first day or so, so keep that in mind when you apply actives. It might sting for 24 hours. CeraVe 100% will sting. That being said, that stinging doesn't mean that it is hurting your skin if you have rinsed off the product and know you're putting on something that won't hurt your skin. (Such as CeraVe.) I'm a pharmacy technician, and this product is thoroughly misbranded, in my opinion. They need to specify that it is a knock off spa treatment. They NEED to say it's a standard (read: somewhat harsh) chemical exfoliant. There should be instructions for proper before and after care. This peel is for oily skin; that should be stated. The other ingredients do a good job at making the alcohol in it less drying, but it is definitely an astringent, albeit a mild one. Lastly, they need to rename it. Peeling mask doesn't always mean "a peel" it means "a mask that peels off." And there are many gentle, moisturizing peel off masks. These are more well known and are what someone thinks about when they hear "peeling" describing a mask. Formula 10.0.0.6 (that is the literal brand name) needs to redesign their packaging and marketing. This is a weapon for your skincare arsenal, not a froofy lotion or relaxing mud mask. This belongs next to your "The Ordinary" 30% AHA 5% peeling solution. It's actually a good way to work up to that. The product claims do not match the product, but it is a PHENOMENAL product. My Results (after one use): (22F, very oily skin, skin barrier in tip top shape when I used this) This got rid of my redness instantly, exfoliated some whiteheads without leaving a scar, (I got so worried when I saw it had exfoliated one of them, but no redness developed.) This made my skin feel amazing. I took a day or so thinking about what to write for the review. This product has worked better for my redness than any other product. I think it made my Loreal dark spot treatment penetrate better, as that's the only thing my skin could handle after it. (It's a semi occlusive moisturizer.) Conclusion: This is a once-a-month product or "as needed" (a.k.a. when your skin is very oily - possibly less than once a month.) This is an exfoliating chemical peel, and it works delightfully. As such, you can't put more than a few actives on your skin for about 24 hours after or it will sting mildly. It makes actives penetrate deeper. It's not a mud mask, it's not a for-fun mask, and it's not a hydrating mask. It is misbranded, but I think it's an amazing product enough to still leave this at 4 stars, because I feel like it's only hurting the people who don't read directions.

Best mask I've ever tried

I will leave another review if this ends up Breaking me out. But so far I love it!! It smells really nice. And my favorite part is it is super gentle to peel off. Unlike most peel masks where it can be a bit painful to peel when they are ripping your face hairs and skin off. I feel like it's taking what's necessary off and is super gentle. It didn't hurt at all! And since it's not being rough with pulling things off it's not taking things it doesn't need to. I can see how that alone will be good for the skin and acne prone skin coz it's being beneficial but not irritating by being rough. I can't imagine pulling skin and pore funk out abruptly is good for acne, so this could be the perfect mask. Excellent!

What a wonderful MASK. A light blue gel type mask, the size of the mask is not so big which is right for the price. The scent of the mask is light & fresh smell of ocean. When i used the mask i thought i would need a lot, but actually not, i just need to apply a very thin layer over my face and leave it dry. It was so much easy to peel it off from my face. Once peeled off, i saw my face was glowy and smooth. A very affordable yet good quality mask! Highly recommended.

Very thick and very sticky!

I was excited to try this based on the claims of it being a clay mask and also hydrating but unfortunately it made my intended pamper session more stressful than I had wanted! The consistency is very thick out of the tube which made it very difficult to apply a thin enough layer for it to peel off. I left it on for 20 mins (suggests 10-15) and it still wasn't dry enough in a lot of places to peel off due to the layer being too thick. I tried rinsing it off which didn't work as it was too sticky, I tried wiping the now wet mask off with a muslin cloth which also didn't work and I eventually resorted to washing my face with my gel cleanser which got it off. Wonderful & Moisturizing, But Don't Expect a Pore Clearing Peel

Not quite the type of peel I was hoping for (I wanted Biore pore strip peel power), but this is honestly a wonderful, moisturizing mask. I look stunning after use. The fragrance is nice and refreshing, but can definitely be a bit strong as another person mentioned. A great addition to a moisturizing regimen.
