The Logitech G Saitek Flight Yoke System is the best-selling Yoke system worldwide. Whether one is flying with a small aircraft or a large one, the Logitech Flight Yoke System adds an extra dimension to virtual flights, making them even more realistic. With extremely accurate control, thanks to the stainless steel shaft, the yoke responds smoothly and precisely, making flying very comfortable. The Logitech Yoke has multiple buttons, including an electronic trim and a pov hat-switch for operating the camera. All buttons can be programmed to personal preference. The included Throttle Quadrant allows users to control the power settings of the aircraft, such as throttle, propeller, and mixture. Moreover, there are six additional programmable buttons on the Throttle.Connecting the Saitek Yoke System to a table or desk using the desk mounts and connecting the USB cable to a computer is all that is needed to take off. The Yoke system is a plug-and-play system, meaning no installation is required. This makes it compatible with most flight simulators, including Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS 2020), X-Plane, and Prepar3D.The Logitech Flight Yoke System forms the foundation of any complete flight simulator cockpit. One can easily mount the Logitech G Flight panels, such as the multipanel or the radio panel, on top of the hardware, so all aircraft functions are within reach. If you want to expand the cockpit with multiple panels, the use of a USB hub with external power is recommended. With the powerful STS software, profiles can be created for different aircraft or if more programmable functions are needed. The Logitech Flight Yoke already has 25 buttons and switch positions, but with the mode switch on the yoke and the STS software, the number of programmable functions can be expanded to as many as 75!

This unit is also the base for many other flight sim modules such as radios, engine instruments, switch panels, navigation etc etc etc. All in all a very well priced and very easy to setup and use flight Yoke and Throttle Quadrant set.

Like maybe there was a firmware update or something like that. It took them well over a week to get back to me, but it wasn’t helpful at all. They completely ignored the fact that it was a simple switch issue and treated it like a SW issue where they wanted me to install drivers, software, and a lot of other stuff not related. So I’m currently playing the game of trying to make it through the noise of the initial support steps. If it wasn’t for this defect I would have rated it a 4. I would have rated it a 3 had Logitech had good support. They don’t so it’s a 2.That’s kinda frustrating because I’ve been a big fan of Logitech for a long time. Generally they have good stuff.

Really helped with my flight sim, was able to make proper analogue movement. However, the build quality was a bit cheap, noticeably light weight and plastic feeling. This yoke doesnt have any force feedback or vibration either, so just seemed a bit expensive for what I was getting. Great budget option if you want to get into flight sims though

This is my friends yoke and throttle and I must say I am amazed at how easy it is to set up, takes about 30 seconds, and at the quality for such a low price. He has reduced the price from a brand new one by about a third, and it still works amazingly. I would highly recommend and definitely great value and a great purchase. I also strongly believe that under the right care it could continue to work amazingly for another decade at least. The yoke feels very realistic and firm, and there are no faults with the throttle or the yoke. I would also take in to account the validity of the product overall from multiple reliable sources.

The pitching system is perfect, and there are many configurable buttons and switches. The only difficulty many would face is the lack of precision, but nonetheless it is workable. The included clampers are a great help as well, when you don't want to move your yoke everywhere. The added function of a timer and clock is useful for timing and for general purposes in real life situations. Basically, don't fall into the hate given to this yoke. It has changed a lot from the start and is more reliable nowadays, as a functional and fixable yoke for all to enjoy. I use it everyday ever since I got it and it is perfect!! 4 out of 5. Perfect gift.

The four screws which attach the quadrant to the support were missing. The documentation did not specify what screws they were. I reached out to Logitech Support which said that they do not stock nor ship that part, and what I have to do is return it to the store for exchange.Well, that solution did not seem efficient for four screws. Fortunately, the email did specify what screws they were, (Phillips [EDIT] M4 16 mm [TIDE]), and so I just bought some and installed. So, dead zone. Yes. Only within the slight play at the centre rest point. Get used to the slight play, where there is no tension, and one gets used to the dead zone. Once tension is felt in the yoke, the system responses to movement. It seems fair. One does not want the plane slightly moving when there is no tension in the yoke.It may not be realistic, but it works. [INS] If it does not work for you, the deadzone is totally adjustable via software. (I use "jstest-gtk" and "joystick"). The dead zone can be expanded, contracted, shifted, or completely removed via software. Some amount of "dead zone" is desired so that there is no 'jitter' in the controls when the joystick is at rest, (or at the far extremes). Also, [EDIT] no [TIDE] software from Logitech for Linux, but Linux has software for these devices [INS] such as, 'joystick,' and 'jstest-gtk' [SNI].Previous review.I should also mention that the yoke only moves 45 on the roll axis, and not 90. That is not a problem for me, but it might be for others who want total realism for planes where the roll axis has 90 movement on the yoke.

If I had been buying this for casual simulator use, I'd probably give it 4...maybe even 5 stars. It's pretty, hefty, and seems pretty well built. However, I bought it with the hope of using it in X-Plane 11 for a much more realistic sim experience (I've taken some flying lessons IRL, so I know what realistic feels like). The short story is that this controller fails completely at the serious sim level for two simple reasons. It has major stiction and deadzone problems (I should have believed the online reports more before purchasing). The slightly longer story is that these make smooth landings virtually impossible--especially if you are attempting a landing with one hand on the throttle and one on the yoke as in real life. The slightly longer story is that these make smooth landings virtually impossible--especially if you are attempting a landing with one hand on the throttle and one on the yoke as in real life. The slight additional torque coming from using only one hand just makes the stiction even worse. Then on top of this, if your trim has your pitch angle near the central deadzone range, you need to compensate by constantly jumping the deadzone using larger than natural movements. Installing drivers and tweaking settings are to no avail. There are physical fixes for these through mods and board replacement, but there are better (and pricier) yokes out there that are supposed to be much better performing; so this one's going back in the hopes that one that proves to be better actually exists. In the meantime, its back to the HOTAS.

The Logitech flight yoke looks great and the options to mount any of the instrument and switch panels by Logitech is a nice touch. The throttle quadrant works as advertised and really helps to add to the realism. Unfortunately, the center detent on the yoke really takes away from the experience when flying. If you are a real pilot looking to find a yoke for simulator work or if you are an enthusiest who enjoys X-Plane, FSX or Prepar3d, the issue with the detent is going to be a deal breaker.Roll motion on the yoke is smooth and pitch is decent at the ends of travel, but once you get anywhere near center you hit the detent and this really can cause problems when you need the extra fine motion and detail on final or when taking off. I'm surprised Logitech is ok with this known issue and continues to produce these yokes without attempting to correct the issue. The price is right, but unfortunately flying requires both smooth roll and pitch and that's where this yoke fails. The other issue with this kit is that if you decide to replace the yoke with a better product, the throttle quadrant is not a dedicated USB unit. It requires the yoke to function. So if you do upgrade to a better yoke, you will need to purchase the standalone Logitech throttle quadrant that is equipped with USB for $60.In my opinion, if you are getting into the hobby or you are looking for a more quality setup, avoid the Logitech flight yoke and spend the extra $100 on a Honeycomb Alpha flight yoke. You will end up replacing the Logitech yoke anyways.

Easily bordering on 5/5 stars. It's quite usable and this setup with the throttle quadrant is a way better deal than the CH products one at this point, from what I can tell, though I never personally used that one.The deadzones and calibration/occasional recalibration can be a annoying, and the yoke would ideally be slightly smoother in the pitch axis. There is a way to open it up and modify it with elastic bands and/or bungee cords believe it or not, which has been shown to improve performance, and I might try this myself sometime. If you're made of money and want to take simming very seriously (or if you're a pilot), you're going to want something higher end instead of this, like the Honeycomb Yoke, Yoko the Yoke, or something else. But this is very good for what it is, and I'd argue it's the best one in the $100-$200, *especially* for the deal with the throttle quadrant.P.S. the 3 extra USB ports on the back are "unpowered" so you can only use them for the rudder pedals or other extremely low power devices.

I had problems installing it. The four screws which attach the quadrant to the support were missing. The documentation did not specify what screws they were. I reached out to Logitech Support which said that they do not stock nor ship that part, and what I have to do is return it to the store for exchange.Well, that solution did not seem efficient for four screws. Get used to the slight play, where there is no tension, and one gets used to the dead zone. Once tension is felt in the yoke, the system responses to movement. It seems fair. One does not want the plane slightly ... MoreI had problems installing it. The four screws which attach the quadrant to the support were missing.
