Cannot go wrong with Fitbit, I have been using these for years. This is such an attractive looking activity tracker. Does everything you need it to all in one place, small and light. Easy to use, set up and navigate. I would highly recommend this, I would not waste money on a cheaper alternative as they do not last and these are definitely worth the money. They stand the test of time and last years.

The Fitbit Flex 2 is a versatile and casual fitness tracker that earns a solid 5/5. Its sleek design is inconspicuous, making it suitable for everyday wear. The water-resistant feature adds convenience, and the accurate fitness tracking, including steps and sleep, enhances its functionality. The LED display is simple yet effective, and the battery life is commendable. Overall, it's a reliable choice for those seeking a discreet and efficient fitness companion.

I bought this one without ever trying anything from this brand. It was very simple to use and it's a sleek design. I did however get my account hacked into pretty easily, still unsure how, but customer service responses were quick and they shut down anyone trying to access or take over my account. The other thing I liked about this was the battery on it was pretty longlasting and it's easy to charge when you aren't using it.
I have owned a Fitbit previously so I understand how it works. This is a more up to date version that is currently on the market. The watch itself fits nicely on my wrist. The straps are soft and comfortable when wearing for a short amount of time but I noticed it tends to irritate my skin after wearing overnight leaving a big red patch on my wrist which hurts after some time. The watch comes with 2 strap fittings - one for a small wrist and one for a larger wrist. The strap is made out of I have paired the watch with the Samsung Phone using Android. It states the life of the battery is for up to 7 days but I do not get nowhere near enough. The battery on this lasts for 1 and a half days until I have to charge this fully again. It states the life of the battery is for up to 7 days but I do not get nowhere near enough. The battery on this lasts for 1 and a half days until I have to charge this fully again. This is disappointing. The features of this watch are exactly the same as my previous version which are the monitoring of Blood Oxygen/Stress and Temperature so I do not believe there is anything unique standing out from this watch. The watch is waterproof so it is okay to wear whilst in the shower or if you are out in the rain you don’t need to worry about the watch getting damaged. It is great for tracking how many steps I have done in an entire day, how many stairs I have climbed and how far I have walked. Another great feature I like is the heart tracker whilst sleeping. I have used this watch to track my sleep quality but I found it very uncomfortable to wear whilst sleeping so I do not wear this overnight. It records data onto the phone that is paired giving an accurate reading and it stores that reading for as long as required. I sometimes use this watch for listening to music and making calls not only for tracking my fitness. There are other apps on this watch to utilise other things. I use Google Maps and Google Pay whilst out and about. Google Maps is accurate to use on this smartwatch and I love the fact I can use Google Pay just by swiping the watch face onto the card reader to pay for items. I have stopped taking cash to pay and utilise this feature multiple times daily. It is great and convenient to use. No more worrying about taking money with me unless if I am making a big purchase which I will require a physical card. The watch itself is a sleek rectangle design which is very appealing compared to other smartwatches considering the amount of great features this watch has. I certainly do not like watches that are big and take up so much wrist space so this is perfect. I have also noticed the silver colour strap has already been stained with a dark coloured mark which does not come out, this is a disadvantage of owning a light coloured strap. Overall, great features but let down by the mark on the strap and also being quite uncomfortable to wear on longer occasions.

The shipping cost was almost as much as the cost of the product.I had continuous 5 day email communications with Fitbit's Customer Services. After several messages and searches on-line, I found that the device, which must be worn 24 hours a day seven days a week, operates and communicates with a PC via Magnetic fields and Radio Frequency waves. This concerned me because I have a Pacemaker/Defib implanted in my chest and this device comes with warnings about exposure to magnetic fields and RF signals. So I asked Customer Service for help. I asked them to please call the Implant manufacturer and they will determine if it is safe for me to use. They told me I should do that. I told them great answer, except nowhere in anything you publish on paper or on-line, do you provide the product Specifications. They still refused and said the FCC said they didn't have to and that it was negligible like cell phones. I told him that you don't wear a turned on cell phone 24x7 and I have warnings about keeping cell phones as far as possible from the implant. They still refused. So I asked for a product return and refund. After another two days of messages, I was told that Fitbit does not accept returns unless I bought the product directly from them or from an authorized dealer and that my seller was "unauthorized" I argued that it was not the seller's fault it was the omission of important safety information by Fibit. They still refused. They did however agree to the return of the special usb device (less the shipping costs)It is very disappointing because the Fitbit device appears to be everything you would want or need. Therefore, I would not recommend Fitbit to anyone who has an implanted device and anyone concerned with long term constant exposure at skin contact to magnetic fields and Radio waves. Also take into consideration, Fitbit, unlike most reputable companies, does not stand behind their product enough to accept returns no matter where you purchased it, and their Customer Services are less then helpful. You can perform an on-line search and find the product complaints yourself.
Having previously owned a Fitbit Charge HR, I can't help but write my review from a comparative stance. Let me start with the best part of the Flex 2, which happens to be how I ended up needed a new Fitbit in the first place... IT'S WATERPROOF! I accidentally jumped in a pool wearing my Charge HR, and despite noticing quickly and throwing it in rice, it didn't make it. So I absolutely love not having to worry about that with my new Flex 2.Second best feature: the tracker itself is tiny! I love that you can swap out wristbands, or get an ankle band, or even a necklace. The small and large adjustable (lavender) bands included are lightweight and comfortable and should fit wrists of MANY sizes - they also stay tightly secured on the wrist. It functions well as a ... I love that you can swap out wristbands, or get an ankle band, or even a necklace. The small and large adjustable (lavender) bands included are lightweight and comfortable and should fit wrists of MANY sizes - they also stay tightly secured on the wrist. It functions well as a tracker overall, though I went for a run and it didn't seem to pick that up automatically as it's supposed to. The five lights on the tracker progressively fill in as you reach your step goal; the final light turns green and the tracker vibrates when you've reached it.When your battery is very low, one light will turn red. This is one thing I've been a little frustrated with - I find the Flex 2 isn't good at all about sending me "Your battery is low" emails like the Charge HR did, and I've already found my tracker dead a couple times without warning. It's also not as obvious because the Flex 2 does not have an LCD screen to check the battery level like the Charge HR. I'm a bit disappointed that the silent alarm feature hasn't been fleshed out any further either - still no options to set number of snoozes or length between snoozes.Overall which Fitbit you should get comes down to your preferences. For me, giving up some of the higher-end features of the Charge HR were a perfectly good trade-off to get the slimmer, lighter, and waterproof Flex 2.
I just recently switched jobs and went from sitting all day to walking most of it so I thought I would get a fitness tracker to see how much activity I do during the day. I did a lot of research and decided on the Fitbit Flex 2. I'm very impressed with the tracker and the accompanying iPhone app. The app lets me track not only my activity but how well I sleep, my water intake, calories that I eat, weight, BMI and also set goals for myself. I've never really cared that much about what I eat or how much I exercise but I have found that keeping track of it through the app has made me more aware and has even motivated some healthier decisions. I've never really cared that much about what I eat or how much I exercise but I have found that keeping track of it through the app has made me more aware and has even motivated some healthier decisions. Seeing the progress makes it like a game that I want to get better at.I was worried about having to wear something all the time (I hardly ever even wear a watch), but the tracker is very light and I barely even notice that I'm wearing it. It's about the same as wearing one of those rubber bracelets that were so popular a little while ago. Live strong! Of course there's some question about the accuracy of most of these devices, but since I'm using it more to get a general idea of how far I walk and not to track a hard core exercise routine, this is not a problem for me. I haven't tried it on a bike ride yet, but I will soon. Likewise, living in the Midwest in October, I haven't tried the swim tracking either. If there is any negative, it's been battery life. The Fitbit site says a charge will last up to 5 days but mine has been lasting no more than 3. I've been reading some other reviews and this seems to be common to other users as well. This is not really a problem for me, it's not that big of a deal to charge it every few days. When you see how small the device is you'll be amazed that something that size packs in Bluetooth, an accelerometer, a motor for vibration, lights and a battery (plus I'm sure there's tech in there that I'm not even thinking of).Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and can see this product leading to a healthier lifestyle and a healthier me. If you're looking for a little more hard core tracking, you might want to look into some of the more advanced models that include heart rate monitors but if you're just beginning to track your health or you're taking a more casual approach to it, I don't think you can go wrong with the Flex 2.

The first option to connect is to download the Fitbit app to your mobile device and synch up the Fitbit by registering online. The next is to download the app to your computer and communicate via Bluetooth. If you want to just connect via Wi-Fi then you need to purchase a Fitbit Dongle for about $5 but it has to be a link without a password. The Fitbit app helps you compete with friends, track your progress and achieve goals to be healthier. The insightful information will help you make easy choices to burn more calories. It has some nice features to motivate you with challenges. The Fitbit app will even tell you how much you slept each night and wake you with a strong vibration so you won't need to hear that alarm clock. Your phone can even alert you thru the Fitbit with a vibration and LED lights so you know when you really need to pick it up. This feature works great when your phone has to be off at work or in watching a show at a theater.

This has many uses from tracking your activity levels, reminding you to move, keeping track of your sleep, tracking your calories, tracking your fluid intake and tracking the number of steps you take. It's super simple to get started by choosing the smaller or the larger band, charging the battery using the USB adapter (included) and downloading the phone app. On top of the multitude of functions with the app you also gain access to an entire community of other users. You can set goals for yourself on the app for the hours of sleep per night, calories burned, caloric intake to the steps you take daily. Using the app you can connect with real life friends or other members of the community to do "challenges" and help each other reach your goals by motivating each other. You can literally live in the middle of nowhere and still find a workout partner using this. The bracelets are water resistant as well so you can swim with them. The only downside to the system is even though you can swim wearing them they say you need to thoroughly dry them off after and the device constantly syncs to your phone so on my worst or most active day my battery died three times faster on my smartphone than it does with no device. With the number of uses and functions and the ability to always have someone else to motivate you to get or keep moving you literally have no excuse to not get fit and stay fit.
