So here’s the deal. It’s a weeding tool. Weeding isn’t fun, weeding tools aren’t cool and no one looks forward to weeding. It appears that Fiskars understands this and decided to make a tool that’s simple, lightweight and extremely effective. As most of you know, trying to pull grass out of a flower bed by hand is frustrating. The blades break and then you’re stuck trying to get the root out with your finger. Or you’re stuck using a tool that’s too big and you dirty up your mulch. This tool gets rid of all that. The small head gets right to the root and the long shank give plenty of leverage to pop the root out with ease. I highly recommend this tool. Great job Fiskars!

I used mine for 3 days and the hollow handle snapped off leaving me with a sharp, one inch long section of handle. I didn't use it very hard, just a normal amount of work for this type of tool. Not impressed.

Cheap and works well. Allowed me to get through my budding weeds quicker than pulling just by hand. Better suited for newer growth rather than taller, thicker, more established weeds.

Weeds are not my friend but they continue to invade my yard. With this tool, I can easily and effectively remove most weeds. It has a sharp enough edge that it came with a cover for the tip which is encouraging for digging into hard to reach areas. I did however have to manually pull the rest of the weed out of a crack between cement blocks understandably. It’s easy to use and it’s small enough to fit in your pocket for multitasking! Also so affordable I’m thinking of getting multiple so everyone in the family can have as much fun as I do removing weeds from our yard. Since I don’t believe in chemicals, this is the way to go for a natural weed free yard.
This fiskars hand weeding tool is very comfortable in your hand and quite manuverable. It has the ability to easily plunge deep in the soil around the weed to remove it root and all! I never thought I needed it until I tried it, and spent the next 3 hours combing my entire yard, mulched shrub and flower areas extracting every type of weeds that were found. I was amazed at how nice of a job it did! Such a simple concept, easy to use, and lightweight, I highly recommend this tool as a great addition to quick and easy weed removal!
It didn’t come with instructions. I’ve never used a tool like this before so I wasn’t sure what to do. But I stuck it in the ground by the weed and turned it, pulled up and it came out by the root. The ground wasn’t rock hard but not too soft either (it’s summer and we need more rain) but I didn’t have to use too much effort. I’m going to do more research on the proper way to use this but so far I think it’s pretty cool and definitely good for smaller weeds that don’t have roots too deep.

Really helps to get the deep rooted weeds out. To keep weeds from coming back you need to get the whole root and this tool helps. It’s a very simple design and I had my doubts that it would be of any use but it actually really is helpful. It’s especially helpful for getting the whole dandelion root out because they have deep roots almost like a carrot. It also fits in the hand nice and is the perfect size for its job.
Weeding the yard is an ongoing chore. Some weeds are shallow rooted and are easily plucked. Others, such as dandelions, have tap roots that snap off at ground level and survive to send up new leaves and seed heads. This tool is a dandelion’s worst enemy. Inserted in the soil along the root, the whole plant is easily removed with just a little leverage and twist. The solid construction and design of this tool makes penetration of my mostly clay soil a breeze. This is a must have tool for anyone who weeds.
When I first saw the tool, I didn't think it would work, but I really was surprised. Although is small, it works very good, it's light and comfortable to hold. You can get decent leverage to pop out the weed, even with the tool being straight instead of curved. I actually like the straight shank better, easier to guide under the weed and easier to push into the soil.The one thing I wish it has is a lanyard to put your hand through or to hang up. I know it has a hole in the handle for hanging but a strap would have been nice. Definitely not a deal breaker.Overall I'm happy with the Fiskars 200S Hand Tool Weeder.
