Very impressed by the build quality, the neck had no fret issues and is a dream to play. I’ve got a few Standard Tele’s which are great but the humbuckers on this just seem to cover everything. No, you’re not going to get the single coil sound but they are very smooth and do carry a twang. I’m just really enjoying playing it, it’s great clean and dirty. Highly recommended, as it can pretty much do anything, I can’t find a fault as the pickups and hardware are all quality. Normally I would be looking to swap out the pickups or poor quality components, that’s not the case here, it’s a keeper.

Overall:I love this guitar. It sounds amazing and rich and plays like a dream. It only took me 45 minutes to do the setup and get the pickup heights dialed in. Pretty much a perfect guitar for my purposes. I highly recommend adding this to your collection of tools!

Overall:Listen, I've had about 140 guitars in my lifetime ( I'm 58). I play for a living although o do other things to supplement ( teach. Setups, tone coach )I can't even express how much I like the feel and tone of this guitar. Usually I tear out the pickups and wire in some boutique but no need to do that. These alnicobII humbuckers are wound and balanced to perfection. No fretbuzz and nice big frets. It's an inspiring joy to play..usually I'm in and constant state of setup. My tools stay out and I'm always tweaking. Not with this guitar. I think Fender got sick of having Sire kick their ass. Rolled edges and high quality in this price range. We'll, mission accomplished

This configuration was exactly what I had been looking for from Fender. I wanted an HH Tele, but did not really like the Blacktop series they had previously offered. These Player II guitars are well made, light, comfortable to play. Even though they are made in Mexico you can be fooled thinking it came out of the USA due to the quality of build. Very happy I ordered this guitar. And of course it came set up perfect out of the box from Sweetwater.
Overall:Bought this the other day. It’s my first hh telecaster. Really surprised by the pickups the most. They’re not too hot so very adaptable. The neck is the player plus neck, great quality. Put in 6 saddles instead of the bent steel ones, the round string tree and locking tuners. With the two additions- saddles and locking tuners, this guitar becomes a very stable, steady work horse. Very pleased once I modded it.
Overall:I’m really loving this Fender Player II Tele HH and the blue color grew on me. The neck is flawless on this guitar. I think they are taking a hint from Sire and others to get on the ball. I don’t feel like I paid extra this time just for the “F” to be on the headstock. It was great right out of the box and as usual the lighting fast free shipping from zZounds was a no brainer. Highly recommend!!
Quick delivery. Great guitar, very happy son. Only prob, quite difficult to restring. Thank you.
Overall:Finally have the guitar that I have been looking for!!! Action was high when first received but after lowering to my liking, this guitar is just beautiful and fantastic to play!!! Excellent job Fender!!! I also want to give a shout out to zZounds as they are a great outfit.
