Factory Recertified DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PS4 - Midnight Blue - Sony PlayStation 4

I should start this out by saying. It's not a sony brand product. This is a third party controller. If you're looking for a proper sony controller, your best bet would be going directly to the sony website. As of writing this they only sell the black ones but, you should be guaranteed the 60$ quality.With that said, this thing was 60$ when i bought it. Since then it's dropped to 45$ as of writing this. At 60$ i can pretty definitively say it's not worth the money. In comparison to the 60$ standard set by Sony, it is effectively inferior in all regards besides it's color. I can say with confidence that the controller is the issue because, comparing them side by side shows a drastic difference in my mic and headphone audio quality. Outside of this, the touchpad is basically stuck in permanently. so trying to type stuff on the ps4 is pretty much impossible cuz you'll always get stuck on the G letter. Sometimes turning the controller on and off will fix it for five minutes and then it breaks again. And one final nit pick, the joysticks are noticably clunkier. They haven't started drifting yet so they're not as bad another 20$ controller i bought recently but. Using quick comms can be a hassle since, a diagnol input will sometimes be read as a fully left input if that makes sense. The joystick themselves also feel noticeably filmy. Fuzzy. Honestly I kind of like how they feel but it's no denying that they're less responsive, and sometimes when I'm flicking and aiming the sense will get slow, so ill have to realign in the middle then reflick. Happens sparingly enough to where it's not a huge issue.All n All, at the current price of 40 something dollars. It might be worth it if you're into the aesthetic. The blue finish comes out really nice. It's also good enough quality to where it could probably last you awhile. But even so, that's about as much praise as I can give. Again i don't hate it, it's serving me well for the time being, but i'm kicking myself for not just going to the website directly. For now, the shine is cool at least.

I love Playstation. I prefer it to XBox. The wireless dual shock playstation controllers are superior to the Xbox controllers in my honest opinion. They fit more easily into my hand as they are smaller in size and the buttons feel more molded to my hand. The wireless capability makes it so convenient. I have a charging dock that I plug the controllers into while not in use to extend the life of the controller. Controller has good range too. What's great is that it is wireless so I don't have to spend a fortune in batteries like I do for the Xbox controller which requires batteries to work. Overall, the playstation controller makes my gaming experience that much more fun with the convenience of it being wireless. These game controllers are the best. They keep its charge for a really long time and u can either play them while they charge or without the wire. Play station 4 is a really great game console. I’ve had game systems since childhood and have always loved video games and it can be a really fun thing to have to kill time as well. I definitely prefer to have play station over XBox. I love their graphics and again I love that the system is so slim and compact. It doesn’t take up much space at all and it’s very light as well. Maybe just a few lbs.

Best controller on the market for its price in my opinion. Light, responsive, comfortable, and it has Bluetooth so you can play mobile games with it. They are decently durable; I've dropped mine numerous times and they still work. Unfortunately some may come with stick drift, or will develop it but that only happened a couple times out of the 8 I've owned. One take away is that they use micro USB to charge which is becoming harder to find these days. The track pad is somewhat of a gimmick but it does work really well. Besides that, I'd recommend giving them a try. You can use them for mobile phone games, Nintendo Switch, and PC so you don't even need a PS4. Great value for its versatility.

I am a big fan of the duel shock 4 PlayStation controller. I have been using this controller for about 2 years now and have only had one problem with it. One of the buttons was sticking on the left hand. So I had to have it replaced. But I do like the way it vibrates when you jump swim or using a shooting game. It’s comfortable to use and your fingers are in the spot in this controller. The color blue was the only one there when I purchased it. I was looking at the light pink or white on. But they work the same. I like that it fits on the attachments I got for it. So I can charge this controller and my other controller at the same time. The best feature for me is that it’s portable. I can walk around with it. Or sit as far away as I want.

Counterfeit controller. Don’t buy

If you buy from this seller thinking you are getting an official first party Sony controller then you would be wrong, these are counterfeit controllers. They tried to make it look official but it’s very obvious counterfeit. The build quality is cheap, button colors are off and feels lighter than the official controllers. Pay attention to your purchases as I didn’t realize this was a third party and worse a third party selling counterfeit items online. Frustrating that Walmart allows counterfeiters on their site. Do not buy from this seller.

Unfortunately for me and the Seller aswell, there was a storm and the original package was lost. But they made sure to get back to me and send me a replacement as soon as possible. it even arrived on its original scheduled day! Mad Respect!!As for the quality of the controller: Everything is in working order. it came with its own charger, the charging port took a few pull outs to warm up but works fine. the aux port for my headphones works.The only quirk my controller has is the Share button to the left of the touch pad has a noticable amount of friction compared to the right Options button. same with the L2 button. But i personally dont mind it

I’ve had the controller for more than a week so far. Before this I have been using the elite and elite 2 controllers for years.First the hall effect sticks are everything I’ve ever wanted. So precise I didn’t realize how out of spec my old controller was. I set the stick dead zone to zero on both sticks and no problem, it snaps back to the exact center and no matter how hard I try I can get the targeting icon to stay put if the stick is moved all tall. I’ve tried used multiple games calibration as well as the system ones for the elite controller, always the same result. Compared to my elite 2 controller that is back from service about 3 months ago, there were spots on the calibrators at level 10 that the stick would register as center.

What can you say about the Dualshock 4, it's maybe the single best controller ever made. It's certainly the most ergonomic. I buy controllers for their ergonomics, not for their other features, like vibration, which I promptly turn off. I have never held a Dualshock 5, but if I were to ever purchase a PlayStation 5 I would certainly try to use a Dualshock 4 to play it with instead of a Dualshock 5. I find it very disappointing, on Sony's part, that they constructed the Dualshock 5 to be rounded, as a possible concession to the trend of controller shape that the Xbox's controllers seems to have influenced. Especially when they already had the best, most ergonomic, and most successful controller on the market. I really hope they return to this form factor again. The only problem I have with them is that the analog sticks have dead zones from around 10 to 12 o'clock, which has persisted for multiple generations. Also, they're not as precise as they could be.
