Pros: Compact beast of machine. Good variety to choose from and delivers superb taste like professional machine in cafe. Totally worth the price. Beautiful Italian design as crazy and obsessed designers that Italians are. Top stuff.Cons: Cup space can be a bit more to allow tall coffee mugs to get in space. Water container can be a little bit bigger although i5 is ok for my use but for busy household they would want more water holding capacity.

This is my second Delonghi bean to cup and it does exactly what you'd expect. It makes both long and espresso coffee to a great standard and is easy to use, set up and clean. The unit is smaller than my last machine, fits into the kitchen well and whilst its size means I need to fill up with water and coffee more often, it still makes the most of the coffee that I buy. I rarely use the steam function, but it does work well if you want frothy coffee. The buttons and controls are very modern looking and as they are "touch" they are easier to keep clean.

I bought a grey market OEM serviced at a 20% ish reduced price. Unfortunately did not work properly and had to be returned. One of the coffee dispensing nozzles gave a dribbling low volume presumably due to an internal plumbing issue. This is, incidentally, a black mark for the servicing dept. and hopefully will not reflect on a new full price machine. But in retrospect I am uncertain about bean to cup machines. The one I used needed to start up from standby for five minutes before it would commence actually making coffee. Possibly better option to get an espresso maker and a separate milk frother and a grinder. Simpler, cheaper, likely quicker and potentially occupy less space on your counter and being separates if anything goes wrong then you only need to change ... Good Points: Great coffee machine, exactly what you would expect from DeLonghi. The double espresso and the long one are a great addition that you don’t have on cheaper options. Aesthetically is very pleasant and narrower. I’m a coffee enthusiast, and I can guarantee the quality is top (for a domestic machine). People that complains about the washing cycle every time it turns on should get a Nespresso as they clearly don’t know what they are talking about. The cleaning cycle must be carried out every time not to leave the infuser with traces of coffee, that’s why it does that automatically every time you turn it on and off. Although is perfectly usable as it is since I use a 320ml jug for my cappuccino.
I was so suprised at how easy this was to set up and use. I was put off of buying a bean to cup machine because of the price and the thought of constantly having to clean it. It more or less cleans it's self, obviously it will need a regular descale as all coffee machines do. The coffee is hot, it's easy to adjust the strength and grind and the milk frother works really well. It looks good and doesn't take up much space on the kitchen work top. Buying refurbished gives it an affordable price tag and the peace of mind that it's actually going to work out of the box as it's been tested before dispatch. My coffee machine looked brand new So far I have found nothing to dislike about this machine.
