I bought 2 of the seats and one failed within a week. Assumed a hinge part was defective so returned it and replaced with same product. The hinge has failed again! It appears to relate to the soft close feature. If you (even gently) push down the lid yourself, the hinge pops out. There should be a warning on the instructions: allow to close slowly by itself. But this is unacceptable & they should be recalled.

Comfortable and good value. My only complaint is that the lid does not rest against the cistern. Probably goes to 95deg instead of 110deg. Looks a bit odd but does the job well.

Replaced a basic toilet seat that could not be secured tight enough to stop it moving around. This model is fair priced and is easy to fit and the seat bumpers help stop any lateral movement.

I just installed 2 of these. They only take 5-10 mins each. Easy install, good quality and well priced. They close really slooooooow which is part of the soft close feature. They’re quite adjustable in fitment and fit my toilets well. Will see how they hold up over time but I’m sure they’ll be fine.
It is just ok. The seat moves no matter how hard you tight screws. I would rate it below average quality. The seat is not aligned. There is a tilt to one side even after readjustment.
We put up with the flimsy seat that came with our cistern for way too long! This one is great. Well thought out fastenings, solid build, soft close, comfortable, and best of all, doesn't squeak and creak for the whole house to hear every time the sitting official makes the slightest movement. The perfect price point, not prestige, but no corners cut. Recommended.
Bought & installed this seat 6 months ago. I waited to leave a review as I wanted to see how it held up. Previous soft close seats we've had in the past contantly slipped & moved on the pan no matter how tight the screws were done up. In 6 months this has only moved once & that was after a visitor had used the toilet. The seat itself feels sturdier than others & is comfortable to use. The instructions for installation were not accurate. They indicated the washers to be placed higher, they should be next to the wing nuts to eliminate sliding. Make sure you choose the correct seat to suit your pan shape.
Good value and a good product. Nice soft close action. Only criticism is the instructions seem to indicate the washers on the fixing bolts should be placed under the adjustable connectors; if you do this the seat will slip and slide. The washers should go under the wingnuts - after that, no problem.
It's true, no matter how much you try to tighten the screws, the seat slips all over the place! The seat looks great and is comfortable enough but not sturdy! Go with another product.
I just bought and installed it. I had problems to get out my old one as it was rusty. But this one is very easy to install and use. I don’t find any difficultly to install this. Not sure why some ppl had issues. Maybe the product I just bought has fixed the issues.
