Estee Lauder Daywear Anti-Oxidant 72H-Hydration Sorbet Creme SPF 15 - 50ml

I was actually pleasantly surprised that I really liked this moisturizer. I was gifted the moisturizer in exchange for my honest review but it is actually a nice moisturizer. This moisturizer has a slight fragrance to it but it quickly fades and it feels really nice on the skin. I love that it contains SPF but it is only SPF 15 and I wish it were at least SPF 25 However it does wear well under other products and doesn't leave a white cast. It also absorbs great with no greasy feel. If this had SPF 25 and was a little cheaper in price I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. I will definitely continue to use it.

This is probaby one of the best moisturizers I have ever used on my skin. It is thick, creamy, and moisturizing without feeling heavy or sticky on the skin. Additionally, it smells amazing due to the cucumber extract. I love all of estee lauder's products, but this is something I would highly recommend if you are battling dry, sensitive skin. My skin is extremely sensitive, dry, and ezcema prone but this has never broken me out or gave me a reaction. It is extremely hard for me to find moisturizers that work with my skin since it is so sensitive and has an allergic reaction to everything. This actually has a really nice cooling feeling! I love to use it under my makeup or right before bed. I used this product as the layer before applying it to makeup. This product has the smell of cucumber. it leaves skin glowy. However, the texture is thick, so it takes a few minutes to be completely absorbed. Therefore, if you want to use it as the moisturizing layer before foundation in the morning, it may take a little patience. I waited about 10 minutes before putting on the foundation to prevent slippage. The reason that make me give a minus because of the antioxidation affect. It does not work as prevention of dullness skin. My foundation always change to darker color after I've worn it for a few hours.

I seriously like this moisturizer. It’s not something with a lot of treatment or anti-ageing properties. It’s something which is basic clubbed with a bit of sun protection and loads of antioxidants. I think it has worked really well for me. I felt the overall quality of my skin improving over a period of time. It brought back the radiance and evened out the skin tone though it didn’t have much effect on pigmentation or fine lines. I was so comfortable with it that I even repurchased and finished up the second pot too.

Fed up with estee lauder

I have just been advised that once again, el has discontinued another one of their best selling products - the daywear sorbet! And even worse, they have no replacement! First it was bydrationist, then daywear and daywear sorbet. All of their other moisturizers are too greasy! So, i will be going to another line and am quitting el altogether. All they are concerned about is how much they can charge for their tiny bottles of face cream, so continue their change game. I have had enough. No more el products for me!!! And i am certain that no one at el cares!

It's nice

My skin type is very oily and shiny. Bought this 'sorbet' version as it's lighter and more oil free, with my main interest being SPV as I don't want to wear suncream every day. I like the light cucumber smell, the consistency is good, and I feel SPV protected - certainly after a long stroll in the sunshine I don't come home pink. It still leaves me a bit shinier than I would like. Would definitely buy again, it's a good step in the right direction compared to other higher priced creams I've tried, and the price was good, but my search for a truly shine free SPV moisturiser continues.

The name "Sorbet" is kind-of misleading, actually heavier

I was previously using Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant 24H-Moisture Creme and I like the light texture. It's important for me to feel nothing on my face for the rest of the day. I was misguided by the name "Sorbet". Compared to ice cream, sorbet is much more light and low-fat, so I think this one would be even lighter than the Anti-Oxidant 24H-Moisture Creme. It turns out to be more oily and sticky. I believe it is a good moisturizer but I would recommend keeping using the Anti-Oxidant 24H-Moisture Creme if you are previously convenient with that product. If you are like me and wish to try something new, maybe this one is not for you.
