I have been using this moisturiser for a number of years know and it is a high quality product which gives excellent results. It goes on feeling silky smooth and leaves not sticky residue or feelings of not penetrating the skin. Only a little is required so the pot lasts a long time making it worth every penny particularly if you have delicate skin.

I found this really drying (I have normal skin I. e not oily etc.) and this made my skin quite red and dry I had to stop using it. In hindsight i picked the wrong one as I don’t think espa would recommend it for my skin type! I have used the optimal and found that much more suitable so I’d recommend looking at the full range and then picking which suits you best.

Got a smaller size of this in a beauty box. It has quite a strong smell of “spa” on application but disappeared quickly. I really enjoyed this as it made me feel like I was treating my skin. As for actual performance I have normal-combo skin. I’ve been using for 2 weeks now My skin definitely feels moisturised all day and looks healthy and plump. Would repurchase.
I have very oily skin, so I am always on the lookout for oil-control moisturizers. I have been using this one for a few weeks now. It is a very light and liquid formula, that absorbs almost instantly. Oil control is good, but only lasts for a few hours, so around lunch time I need to start blotting my shiny zones. Still, better than many others. It can be a bit insufficient in dried areas like cheeks, so I sometimes add another moisturizer there. The scent is very herbal, almost smells like my spices drawer in the kitchen. Be sure to try if you like it, as it lingers for a while. All in all, a good product, but i would recommend a sample first.
This moisturiser is effective and lightweight at the same time. It instantly improves the moisture level in your skin and can be used with foundation to make a tinted moisturiser too. My skin is menopausal with oily, as well as dry, sensitive skin all at the same time. I find this doesn’t cause and reaction and does a great job.
The moisturiser is light-weighted , feel light on the skin , it has lightly watery consistency feels more like a lotion however it does moisturise well a normal / combination skin , without clogging the pores , it feels well under make up as well without leaving the skin greasy , and yet doesn’t roll under make up . The smell is great in my opinion since is natural and doesn’t have perfumes as other products have . I will always opt for natural smells rather than allergens or chemical fake fragrances on my skin. If I compare it with luxury brands such as biologique recherche , or obagi , it smells much better, it’s not persistent, is just natural .
I received this in the LookFantastic Advent calendar and was pleasantly surprised at this cream. The texture feels like a mix between a gel and a cream, soaks in easily and skin feels plump. It does have a light fragrance to it, and includes Lavender and Limone extract, which if you have sensitive skin can be sensitizing. But overall, I really like this for morning use, under makeup and a good primer and I don't have any dry flakes with my makeup which has always been my biggest pet peeve with dry skin!
I am a big fan of ESPA products so thought I would try this moisturiser as it is recommended for oily people. It was a lovely moisteriser and smells amazing however it did not combat my oily skin and it is also not non-comedogenic, which I personally prefer in my skincare products. I think this would be better suited for someone with normal to combo skin.
Bought this to combat oily skin in the summer, and although it soaks in nicely, there’s a fine film left sitting on the skin, which is dry to the touch. I suppose that’s the ingredient which controls the oil, but I didn’t find it comfortable. The formula is quite runny, so I didn’t find it that easy to actually get on my face! Wouldn’t repurchase.
