I have never been a breakfast eater, even when I was a child. My father had a heck of a time with that one! Fast forward 30-some years and now I have epilepsy and an entire basket full of pills to take multiple times a day. Mornings were a problem. Eating made me feel sick. The pills made me actually get sick on an empty stomach. My doctor recommended these and they were the perfect solution. It coats my stomach and allows me to be able to handle the pills, yet the liquid form doesn't make me nauseous. Strawberry is the only one I can do but that's of course a personal preference. For me, the nutrition is a bonus. It does something milk can't that allows me to keep my pills down in my stomach comfortably.

I purchase Ensure chocolate drinks for my aging parents. Don’t get me wrong every now and then I live drinking the Chocolate Ensure especially when it’s been refrigerated. Not only are these drinks delicious but it also is power packed with proteins, vitamins and important minerals that gives any person that is lacking the daily vitamin requirement. It’s not to say that a person should only rely on these drinks alone but it’s a great booster though. It had Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Mixed Berry and Butter Pecan.I could only stand to drink the Butter Pecan and Mixed Berry. So I have been drinking Butter Pecan Ensure since 2010. The last 2 years + I have been unable to eat solid foods. I go through 8 3/4 cases of Ensure per Month. I drink 7 bottles per day.I was very upset when I couldn't order, get or find any Butter Pecan Ensure in my Pharmacy or stores. I can only drink the Butter Pecan Regular. I Thought that they would get some within a month. NOPE almost 3 months now with no Regular Ensure in Butter Pecan. I have been drinking extra calories Vanilla Ensure. It is ok, quite creamy. That took me quite a long time to get used to. But I have gone through about 8 cases in the last 2 months. I cannot wait until The shelves and My Prescription Is Filled With Regular Butter Pecan Ensure.

One bottle of Ensure has 25% of the RDA of iron as the toxic form , ferrous sulfate. they base that on the women's RDA of 18 mg, not mens - 10 mg, and the vitamin C content then triples the absorption, so its like getting 75% of the RDa with just 1 serving size! Remember men only need to absorb 1 mg of iron to replace that much that has been lost! Caveat Emptor! My appetite has been poor for quite a long time and so I knew I needed to get some more calories somehow.Previously, I would only eat may be a meal a day, but I need a way to stimulate my appetite. After surgery in 2023, I lost weight at age 73! I have always been lean & fit & over the decades I have weighed about 110 lbs @ 5'2" & I am very active & healthy. Substandard

I’ve been on ensure exclusively since January. I like to have at least one ensure complete daily. The last 2x I purchased ensure complete vanilla flavor, I was beyond disappointed. The products must have been old because no matter how much I shook the bottle to mix it, there was a substance l that wouldn’t mix. It had the same texture as sour milk when it clumps up. This substance stayed right inside the bottle opening, underneath the lid. It is pretty disgusting. I never had this problem with the milk chocolate or strawberry flavors, only vanilla.
