The Elecbrake2 (EB2) brake controller is a trailer-mounted proportional brake controller. The device can be used with the Plug and Play adapters or hardwired to the trailers electrical circuits with a Leader. The device is fitted with an IP68 connector. Allows compliance with ADR38/05. Elecbrakes is a trailer mounted electric brake controller, wired directly into the trailers electrical circuit via an easy to use “Plug + Play” adaptor. Elecbrakes draws power from the taillight circuit as well as the brake light circuit ensuring sufficient power is available for up to two braked axles.When you brake the tow vehicle, a proportional amount of force is applied to the caravan or trailer brakes, ensuring a smooth towing experience.Note: This is just the Elecbrakes unit itself, without the installation adaptor or the remote control.

These are one of the best electric brake modules I have had.Purchase again as the last one was hardwired to our previous trailer.Simple to use as its plug and play. There are some setting you need to adjust to suit breaking responsiveness. Would recommend this as it can be used on any trailer you might be towing.

The unit itself works great. Had trouble syncing with the iPhone App. Luckily, I bought the remote as well, so I plugged that in and used it instead.
