Took this fridge camping for 2 nights. The temp gauge is out by about 3 degrees other that that it worked well. Have a 29ltr engel that I have had for 35 years still going strong. Let's see how long this one lasts

This cover is great for the fridge. The pocket is perfect for managing all the cables the fridge came with.The top of the cover can be a bit in the way as it’s connected near the screen. They would have done this as the fridge can open from either side. But it just means that it doesn’t hinge with the fridge.

Well made cover. Heavy duty nylon outer and silver-coated lining with padding. Effectively insulates what is already a well-insulated fridge. The zipped pocket on the end fits all the power leads that came with the fridge. Only suggestion (and why I dropped a star) is the cover design. It doesn't match the fridge lid which opens sideways (or taken off) and has to be fully pulled down longways and towards you in order to access the fridge - the opposite to the lid design. A bit too much mucking around for my liking. It can't be turned around so the cover flips into the car as the power outlet needs to be at the back for the lead to reach the 12v lighter socket. Fridge/Freezer meets all my requirements as far as size, temperature and price. I highly recommend this 45lt for carrying on the ute and on the boat!!
Works well and adds to the overall insulation. Fridge not working as hard to keep temperature down. Saving battery life is a key factor.
I got this as a freeby with the fridge and as such am more than happy with it for what it is. By design it opens along the length of the fridge opposite to the way the fridge opens. This is a but of a pain in the back of the truck and it would be more useful and intuitive if it opened in the same direction as the fridge lid,
The cover helps the fridge keep cool, HOWEVER it does not suit the side opening of the fridge. The cover has to be completely removed from the top of the fridge before the fridge can be opened. Very inappropriate and inconvenient at the very least. Second problem. Fridge was purchased to fit in the back (sealed automatic cover) of the new VW AMAROK Ute. We carefully measured the fridge and it just fit under the cover. BUT with the fridge cover on, the Ute cover cannot close. What a disappointment. The cover is not an appropriate style to fit the fridge and makes the fridge too high to fit into the back of the Ute. VERY BAD DESIGN
Worked a treat , kept things frozen , then kept the beers cold . Without extra charging it didn’t flatten battery over 4 days . Only started vehicle to get out of way .
Took me a minute to get used to it. Takes a second longer to get into than some other covers. But, stays all nice and closed up when hurtling down the highway, so I’m not complaining.Mine lives on the back of the Ute 24/7, so I’ll be interested to see how long I get out of it exposed to the elements.
