20 oz Bottles?

I have loved Dr. Pepper my whole life. In my adult hood I began drinking Diet Dr. Pepper. I love it as well. I have never had a problem with the taste of Diet Dr. Pepper but the last three 20oz bottles I've bought from Casey's down the road; the liquid has smelled very awful. It smelled old, soured, maybe even rotten. It's been a weird smell. And it has changed the way it tastes a bit. I have cans of Diet Dr. Pepper at home always, and get a fountain Diet Dr. Pepper on my lunch breaks. None of these have had the smell, its only been in the 20 oz bottles. The lids are sealed and I break the tab, so it's not anything that has been comprised. I'm really not for sure what the deal is.

Dont buy diet Dr. Pepper

I bought a few 12 packs of cans of diet Dr Pepper. Instead of an expiration date, they had a series of numbers and letters. I guess it tastes ok. But because theres no clear expiration date on it. And I couldnt figure out the expiration date, even tho' I read a few articles on how to do it. I called th Dr Pepper company. The soda was 5 months past the expiration date. I threw it out. If the Dr Pepper company cant have a clear, easily readable expiration date on their products, I wont be buying them. I WILL NEVER BUY DIET DR PEPPER AGAIN.

I was so excited about this product that I opened it immediately in the truck. The hissing sound of the pressure escaping is so satisfying. The first sip is always the most satisfying. The cool, sweet liquid tickles the tongue and stings the throat as you can feel the cool slide all the way down to the core of your being. I was thirsty enough that 1/2 of the bottle was gone before I left the parking lot. The other half by the time I was home. Fully satisfied and refreshed, this little treat allowed me to continue my task.

I've gotten every excuse as in well sometimes when they're on the trucks maybe they get under pressure and a little bit of condensation gets into the cap and yeah okay if it does that's still not my problem it's mildew it's mold it's something and it's something that if it makes you want to throw up is not fit for human consumption. It went down the garbage disposal. I didn't even want the bottles in my apartment The trash was about to run so I took and tossed them out. I had to scour my hands because my hands smelled like it where I would crack it open.
