Not my first pair of DM's, but my first pair of 1461's. I like having the non-slip on cold mornings. Amazingly I wore some of my high dollar shoes on Mon-Tues, and on a cold wet wed morning decided to wear these for extra traction. To my surprise, they were the only shoes that not only got noticed but complimented by not one, but just about about each person I came across. Don't wonder why they are classics.

I ordered one pair of shoes and they arrived very quickly, I had to return these for another size and style though due to a mistake on my part, but this went so smoothly thanks to brand house direct.

The shoes are very attractive. But after trying 3 different styles in 2 different sizes, I’ve had to give up on ever wearing Doc Martens. I’m an 8.5, & neither the 8 nor the 9 truly fit. Please make half sizes! You’ll get more customers.
Service was great, quality of shoe was great, however I had to return them. I ordered the same size I have always worn in docs, but these were miles too big.
Unlike smooth leather Docs these are immediately comfortable. feels great and looks great.
I have wide feet and they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. It's my first pair of Dr. Martens shoes and I am very pleased.
This is one of the few Docs that has a removable insole; I am able to use my prescription orthotic with it. The shoe has been very comfortable. I ordered size 13 US, and I have plenty of room in the toe box. The heel is a little loose, perhaps because of the orthotic, but it is no big deal. The soles squeak on wood and marble but not too loudly. The sown stitching also creaks with each step but it seems to be getting quieter as I break in the shoe. The heel bit sharply against my ankle until broken in. I am very pleased with this purchase.
