I am a 64 year old female. I bought these because of the quality and comfort of Dr Martens. I work with extremely heavy floor and tabletop equipment and supplies making silver, copper, steele, etc., jewelry and various other items by soldering, welding, bending and manipulation. I served in the Military so boots are my “thing” anyway. Although I purchased these for my hobby, I have unintentionally made a fashion statement in my southern community for the older generation. This wide mouth DM is how my old ones look like. But it seems that in going full unisex or gender neutral, this company has compromised in men's true size in the middle section. I was expecting this flaw hence bought a 9.5 instead of 9, yet the middle section still remains narrow. This booth sole should be used as template for all mens DMs with more room in the middle. Calling all men with normal feet, always buy 0.5 size higher.

I have a lot of shoes, from Allen Edmonds to Rockport to Lowa hiking boots to Birkenstocks. Nothing compares to the all day comfort of Docs. This particular pair are amazing. No break in period. Lots of positive comments in my jeans or dress pants. Thank you

How come a pair of shoes for women end up with size for men?My regular size is 6 and I find I fit nicely with my size 5 1640 and Kolbert size 6 with a bit roomy.When I saw the unisex size 5, I expected it would be somewhere between size 5 and 6. No. It is size 5 for men.What confusing me is that the title says this is shoes for WOMEN and size should at least be converted to women size.Anyway, this is a nice pair of boots and it go with everything in every season (except extremely cold weather). I love the form and leather but I have to return it. Definitely order again if Altitude stock up more size.
I bought these in a sale but now wish I had paid full price for the yellow thread version. These just look like any other regular boots. For me, the whole point of having Docs is so that they are easily recognisable by their styling. I bought the correct size but they are still slightly too big around the ankle. The toes are fine however. The leather is smooth to the touch and feels of good quality.
Oh my goodness! The 101 YS White boot. My literal favorite. Hoping they get brought back as well as the archive boots. My favorite shoes ever... Instantly comfortable and beautiful. They're my babies.
The boots are comfortable and can be worn for long hours. I’m an 8.5 and ordered an 8 and length wise fits perfect but they’re wide. I have narrow feet and wear double socks and that makes them perfect for all day wear. You won’t regret your purchase
Bought in the last few weeks, I’d been reading posts about hw long DMs take to wear in & thought this is nothing like my experience when I bought a pair decades ago.. and I am prone to sore feet. Anyway I had already tried on a pair in the shop and obviously the style is great and especially the sole. But.... leather is far thinner and not cushioned at the rear ankle nor tongue like original ones. IF they were, they wouldn’t need wearing in or extra thick socks, and likely last longer. Not sure how long this pair will last. So -overall good but not amazing. Service from Office was great however.
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. I love that this style has black thread instead of yellow, it just looks nicer. The reviews and sizing information was a bit confusing, so I ordered the wrong size. When I had to make arrangements for return customer service was so awesome and made the whole process very easy! I would recommend using their online site for purchase!
ive got 12 pairs of Dr Martin boots and these are a disappointment im afraid to saythey hurt my feet to the point that i could not walk for a day. im selremployed so lost a days money.i was out with them on and in a situation where i could not just change them although they were hurting my feet. it was uncomfortable but bearable at the time..next morning my feet had swollen on the tops and were bruised black and blue.. I had taken pics but my phone was stollen or lost at work and to be honest didnt think of complaining to yourselves as your a big company and although i have always boufght and owned at least 2cpairs since i was 11 year old. didnt think you would really be bothered. guess one pair of bad boots in 41 years of buying them is not that bad but a shame.
