This is the second Dimplex Eco Chico Mini Oil free radiator I have purchased because the previous one I bought 10 years ago is still going strong. They really warm up a room despite it's small size and only being 700W is a big bonus!

So great product. We bought this heater for our caravan 5 Bearth because the heater in the caravan is currently not working. Fantastic little heater. We are getting another one for the awning as well. So cheap to run, convenient size and worth the money. Heating is great. Better then the caravan heater. We do not even bother to get it fixed now. Reckoned for anybody. Great product

Good Points: Light and easy to move. The 0.7 size is great for a medium-sized bedroom and there is no sign of damp.The red light to show it is on is very easy to see.It is a great boost to a draughty area near a patio door downstairs where heating doesn't reach.Improvement Points: Can make the air dry - only an older, larger model we had once had a little 'water carrier' to keep air from becoming rather dry. Bit of a risk with an older person to have a dish of water placed at floor level or anywhere near where there is a plug.A very slightly longer cable would make it possible to place in front of a chair for extra heat.

Good Points: Small enough to tuck away.Bought it to take the edge off in our small-medium sized living room and it seems to do that okay. Also helps dry washing without having the central heating on (obviously follow the safety guidelines).Heats up fairly quickly.Neat design, seems sturdy.Improvement Points: As other people have said, the lead is short, but it works okay for us with regard to where our plug sockets are placed.Not sure what sort of temperatures it gets up to as only dots on the temperature gauge (think this might be normal on these types of heaters).Don't know how 'Eco' it really is as we don't have a smart meter.
We use this in our camper van when its parked up on the drive to save using the vans heating system. So far it is doing a good job of keeping it aired on the days the van is not used. I have it on a timer so it is only on overnight and when I come to use the van it is always toasty warm. Almost tempted to buy another for our cold porch. It is light and easy to manoeuvre with sturdy feet and the cable is a fairly decent length.
