DeWalt 54V XR FlexVolt Brushless Reciprocating Saw DCS389N-XJ
This reciprocating saw has a maximum output wattage (MWO) of 1874 Watts when combined with a 9.0 Amp-hour FlexVolt battery pack. That's 19 percent more power than the original FlexVolt recip saw, the 388. It uses a crank style drivetrain to allow less vibration transmitted to the user, and has a clutch to get you out of trouble in case of a bind up. The shoe at the front pivots to keep the sawing force against the cutting direction, and the LED just behind that keeps the cutting line well illuminated. To change blade quickly and easily, there is a lever that you simply flip by hand, and the saw is compatible with a huge range of preexisting blades. To get so much more power out of the same body as the 388, the DCS389 has a completely re-engineered internal structure. This allows there to be more space for additional windings, and more magnets, all resulting in a higher torque and output power.

Less vibration than 18 volt version and so much more power. Even though only two positions for blade compared to 4 on 18 volt it's well worth adding to the tool kit. And battery life is excellent. Made fair few cuts and battery is still full.

Quality product for DeWalt yet again.
Great tool
Very happy about product
Best price by Howe tools. Very powerful saw which, though heavy. is easy to use.
Fantastic bit of kit . Glad I went for the 54v for the extra power
Great tool. Powerful and easy to use. Does require cleaning though.
Bought this for work. We have several of them, which we use constantly. They are very reliable, light weight and sturdy. The batterys dont take long to charge and they last for a long time. Highly recommend.
