Fantastic piece of equipment. The flat head makes the tricky spaces and angles much easier, as well as a clearer view of whatever you’re cutting or grinding. Very sturdy, not too heavy or oversized either. The fast clip-on guard and hex-key lock makes for quicker use. My only advisory would be the batteries. If you plan on doing any prolonged jobs you’re much better with a corded grinder as this absolutely eats through my 4ah batteries. Be prepared to spend on the 5ah batteries to get the best usage out of it especially for cutting. I also wish there was a paddle option available instead of a flick switch. But all round, a very well engineered piece of kit!

If you use small angle grinders, this is the business. The guard can be rotated around or removed completely with the press of a button. The disc is about 45mm further forward than usual 125mm angle grinders, so a safe distance from fingers if using without the guard. The gearbox is much thinner than usual at the disc end, giving it much better accessibility to confined spaces. Plenty of power, and no wires! Only just purchased it, so I can't comment on reliability, but seems well made. Needs a right angle adapter for the side handle for added flexibility - made my my own.

I had a similar grinder, used for ordinary grinding etc. This very specific one I ordered really helped me to get home just before Christmas! I've been accidentally locked in the customer's yard, everyone went home, so I had used this to cut the padlock off, it was a breeze and I felt like a career criminal for about 30 seconds! In other words, it works well, be advised it eats batteries in minutes, 5AH is minimum to run it.

As always, DeWalt quality is evident here. Used it to grind off unnecessary tabs from a VESA mount plate, no problem whatsoever. Highly recommended.
The grinder is of good quality build , would have liked to hear that the locking tool for head wasnt part of the package ... before buying. Could only be better if the unit had variable speed controls instead of the full on or full off Well worth the money
It's DeWalt... Oh, yeah, light, powerful, good guard adjustment, 6mm hex key for disc replacement which is a shed load better and 2 holes for normal grinder spanner to fit. Gobsmackingly pleased with it Another fab addition to my growing DeWalt tool collection !!!! A+++

Bought this for a specific job but thought it would be useful generally. Dont use it much but when I do it works a treat!
It's amazing, flathead is a 100% better than normal. Operate everywhere, it's not too heavy, good for hold on the hand. If I buy another time, buy same one.
