Same problem that AIxC20 reported, this switch is not suited to common wiring methods. The previous Deta switch allows bridging, but not the current version (see pics) - so also of no use to me and I could not return as it had been opened.

Looks good, but the blue led only turns on when you switch the light off, it’s off when you switch the light on. And there’s a delay of 10 secs. when you switch the light on.

This is a nice switch. The backing circuitry is quite bulky and needs lots of clearance, so for an existing switch replacement check the rear of the switch. Lack of space can be overcome with a DETA mounting block if suitable. This switch needs a neutral wire to the light fitting and to the switch to operate. At my older house with only 2 wires at the switch point, this switch does not suit without more electrical work.

Good quality unit and works like a charm. Easy wiring and very self explanatory.
I got this switch so it will be easy to see before you turn the light on. For some reason the blue LEDs only turn on when you turn the light on??? Pointless. The switch works well apart form that
