This monitor is significantly better than the C2422HE it replaced. Multiple facets have been improved, specifically the upgraded camera (2k quality is crystal clear), the speaker bar is crisper and cleaner than the previous model, the popup camera/mic is gone but can't say i'm happy about the twist-to-shutter aspect (but it's still better than the popup). The camera itself is tilts so you can play the angles (couldn't do this on the C2422HE). The biggest oddity for me was the camera bar is now at the TOP of the monitor while the Teams touch buttons are still on the bottom. Takes some getting used to and the sound coming from a different place was just weird at first. Additionally, there is more room on the back where all the ports are. The C2422HE was near impossible for anyone with normal sized hands to get any USB dongles out. This one has a bit more room to maneuver. Still tight, but definitely better. All of those ports should just be down near the bottom of the monitor for ease of use IMO.

Our folks love the camera quality and that it's physically adjustable unlike the C-Series. They also love the KVM-liked features, USB-C charging, and display quality. What we don't like is everything else. The biggest complaint is the aesthetics of the speaker bar being on top. Personal preference, not a big deal. Second complaint is the tinny sound quality. Standard for built-in speakers. But the biggest complaint by far is the display port negotiation. When you daisy chain a DP display, plan on waiting 15+ seconds before you can do anything as it negotiates and flickers multiple times. It's maddening. No firmware updates available.

Good monitor but a couple items could be improved. Overall picture quality is great and quality of build also great. Only issues I encountered were the installation instructions in the box could have been more detailed. The soft buttons on the front are difficult to see so making volume adjustments or muting the microphone is not as easy as using my keyboard or mouse. Camera video quality is good. Speakers are good for conference calls but not so great for streaming music.Overall I'm very satisfied with this monitor and have recommended it to my procurement manager and coworkers.
I have always been somewhat interested in curved monitors but always viewed them as a gimmick only useful for the occasional movie. The Dell UltraSharp has made me into a believer. The screen real estate has allowed me to go from two monitors to just the Dell and having all my windows open on one cohesive screen has been a game changer. I've been able to set my windows up just right to have a better flow of information on screen at a given time and when I do use the monitor for entertainment, I can still keep a small dedicated section for any work I need to keep tabs on. The speakers sound great for some downtime at my desk and the screen is crisp and clear. Monitors are usually an afterthought for me, but this one has really impressed me and changed my workflow.
I've really enjoyed using this monitor. The built-in camera and speakers are really good quality. I don't know the exact camera resolution, but I think it must be 4k. The built-in laptop docking station is very handy and makes it nice to have one less item on my desk.My complaints are the action buttons on the bottom bezel of the monitor. They are very hard to see when not activated. One is for a Teams call, one for mute, then volume up and down. When active they have buttons that are lit up. But when inactive are totally black and blend in with the bezel frame. My other compliant is with the manual / setup guide. It's very sparse - no word - only pictures. It should at least have a QR code or website with English as a reference to know you need to download extra ... MoreI've really enjoyed using this monitor. It should at least have a QR code or website with English as a reference to know you need to download extra software for the monitor's AV features to function. I also performed a firmware update when I was setting it up.Also, the speaker volume doesn't work as expected. You have to press the volume buttons (on the hidden bezel frame button) and increase it to 100%, then your laptop volume will work normally to control overall volume.
When I got this monitor, I was like oh my gosh what am I going to do with this thing? It sat in the box for a few days until I finally broke it out and connected it to my computer. It was like the first time I got a flat screen TV, how am I ever going to get used to the size of this monitor? I plugged it in and played around with the configuration arrangement for a bit. Then I got my epiphany, I was able to split screen it into multiple screen configurations using the Dell Display Manager application. After using it for about two days I thought, man I love this monitor. I've never had that thought before with any other. It truly is cool.
I sought a widescreen monitor that would meet my needs for photo editing and business workflow. I liked the size but never got to photo editing because I found the resolution to be unbearable poor. My former “retina” monitor rendered all letters and numbers crisply. On this monitor, letters and numbers were notched and, at times, downright blurry. Perhaps the monitor was defective and should have been exchanged but I couldn’t live with it, didn’t want to go through the hassle of an exchange and replaced it with a high resolution 27” monitor. To their credit, Dell made the return easy but due to the 15% restocking fee and the cost of shipping, this was a costly error.
the Device is a great all in one solution, but it can be buggy at times. we notice that if left docked sometimes the camera or the audio will stop working, you have to plug out the USB cable and reconnect for the device to start working. other issues consist of the touch bar can sometimes freeze/get stuck. this causing issues of being either unresponsive or the volume keeps getting button pressed, resulting in very loud volume or very low. have to plus out to resolve. over all these issues happen every other day, most of the day the monitor works very well. great sound, amazing camera and crisp volume. hopefully these simple issues can be resolved with future updates.
Great monitor with a lot of features I was looking for. The ability to have two computers hooked up and switch between the two is amazing - I can have my keyboard, mouse, webcam, and Scarlett audio interface seamlessly jump from one computer to the other without touching a single cable. The curvature is just right for my work and usage of the display. The auto dimming has definitely reduced my eye strain issues I’ve been having with my old monitor. The display is clear and crisp with decent color and blacks. I would give this monitor full marks if it was also HDR but since that is a missing feature and they are charging a premium I feel like this is a bit overpriced for what you are getting.
