You know when you are trying to get the labels off jam jars so that you can repurpose them for jam, and even when you have soaked the labels, there is still a nasty sticky surface? THIS PRODUCT IS THE ANSWER! It is brilliant! Better than meths, turps, etc. Spray-on container gives minimal wastage. Haven't tried it on stains yet, but I will.
This product is fantastic. I’m surprised at the ratings & am assuming people are not using it correctly. If you have something to remove eg., a sticker - place a piece of paper towel over the sticker (cut or rip paper towel down to size), spray with de-solv until soaked, leave for 10-15 mins (may need longer). Come back & wipe off! There may be sticker residue left, just lightly rub off. You may need to then wipe over or wash with soapy water to get the oily residue of de-solv off. Done!!
I use this anyway and have done for years. What was received wasn’t what I’d ordered (it isn’t available) but it does the job. Seems to be diluted from past product. Don’t like the new packaging. Too much plastic.It was not as you have pictured. If it had been I would have rated it higher.
Our daughter had a sleepover and some slime putty got stuck to our brand new, light coloured carpet, putting a purple patch of embedded gunk in the pile.NOTE: do not spray directly onto the carpet.After spraying a few squirts onto a cloth, and gently blotting the putty, it slowly disappeared without any trace whatsoever.
It is amazing. It removes sticky residue from sellotape, glues etc and especially labels from jars. I use it all the time so I bought 2 x 300ml bottles instead of the little ones this last time. I could not do without it.
