This reel came highly recommended by the boys at Fitz, Lake O. Thanks fellas.And boy were they right. Smooth as silk. Great retrieve speed, presents light tackle very well, and holds a ton of light line.Performs slightly better with 4# vs. 6# line.I use fluorocarbon on this particular reel.Absolutely recommend this product to any angler. Very happy with this reel. And, it’s not overpriced.By the way, I’ve caught over a hundred crappie with this reel...I bought it yesterday.

Great reel. It’s really smooth, and handles fish very well. Super easy to get used to, and I haven’t really had any problems with it so far. My biggest complaint is that the handle has a very large range of motion, so when you’re reeling in, you can accidentally push the handle into the bail, which stops the entire action, and can sometimes result in smashed fingers. I found that this can be fixed with a little rubber ring that I put between the handle and it’s mounting point to limit the range it has. Other than that, I can’t find much else wrong with the reel. All in all, a very solid reel.

As a novice angler this was a great pick! It was my first distinguished brand name reel with more than 3 BB and I could feel the difference right away. The spool is tiny which is great for lower ranged casting I don't feel like I'm wasting line. My only complaint is that bail wire could be bent in a smoother curve to provent the line from getting caught when casting.

This Daiwa Revros LT2000 is the perfect little travel reel. It packs down to nothing and has great actions and durability to handle surprising larger fish during my travels. I have landed nice size Snook, Snappers, Sea Trout and Permit, with great drag performance. I would recommend this reel for just about and pick up type fishing on the side when you are traveling around the world; rainbows to tough small moth bass, or any of saltwater species. I have several in my arsenal.
This is a decent $60 reel, no hiccups so far and nice drag. Still a die-hard Shimano fan, but these are nice. Definitely better than fluegers $50 reel.Sizes run a little small... A 35 is more like a Shimano 2000
Just received the Diawa reel and have looked at it closely. It is very smooth for only 4 bearings. The drag is amazing for such a low priced reel. If anyone is looking for a low priced reel with good quality, you will find it in the Diawa Revros.
I've had this spooled up and used for about 6 months. LT-2500 on a Medium-fast spinning.First, Bank-Angler mostly. The Reel is a great buy for anybody on a budget and can take care not have anything bang against it. i've nicked the soft aluminum on the reel. Had to sand/smooth it down now, twice! Once on a boat landing a fish hit the side of boat and nicked it, Second set down on damn bank and nicked it .Bent the bail on a 2.5lb small mouth. Landed fish, but the bail was massively bent. Heated it up a little and got back in shape.The plastic on the handle and on the drag head has popped off multiple times, finally with the epidemic got around to re-gluing.The sensitivity of the reel and drag works well, (who doesn't love the sound of a fish pulling drag??) ... This reel felt great out of the box. I fished a pond with it and got a smaller walleye, so far so good. Took it bluegill fishing the next day. At no point did it touch the ground during these fishing trips and yet it started making a grinding noise when I reeled in line and the issue has only gotten worse. Massive Bummer. I wanted a reel that would last more than 2 fishing trips
The Revros LT line of reels are top notch, I own several in every size and gearing. Never! Never had a problem with any of them. I am a multi day/week fisherman and these reels keep performing without issue. I’ve owned reels that cost hundreds of dollars only to find the garbage bin a few years later. These reels are tough and get abused and still perform as good as new.Drag system is amazing, super smooth action. I cannot recommend a better reel for the price. Hands down my favorite everyday reel.
Initially very pleased with the LT4000C and its ability to hold a large amount of 20lb braid. Spent three days surf fishing followed by two days lake fishing. Always rinsed with freshwater and dried properly. Unfortunately, some kind of residue clogged the gears when I went to use it last weekend. After taking apart the mechanism and cleaning, the reel is back to 100% operation.Five stars for operation out of the boxTwo stars for waterproofing and general durability
