This is a great reel, particularly for the price. My only negative comment is that the spool is very deep, so Ive had to load it up with a lot of line. That said, I love it.

Bought this 2months ago and have used it on 10 occasions it works really well, drag settings run smoothly and is quiet, casts really well. Worked great on 50cm flatties and some big bream. Great Reel.
Great light and smooth reel. Own a few other reels already and what i wanted from this one was a light reel for casting lures on braid. This fit the bill perfectly, has a shallow spool to hold my braid nicely without needing 300m of line, lays braided line well and casts far. And is magsealed. Just great quality and value for what i used it for. Excellent drag too.
I don't have much to compare it with as it's the first decent reel I've bought. But it suits my needs perfectly and has caught fish. The handle feels really nice and the action is smooth. The only criticism is that the bail arm sometimes closes while casting but that could be due to my novice technique. I've filled it with 20lb braid and use it for lure fishing. I like it so much that I bought a matching 2500 Freams for light estuary work
Great reel, well priced. Performs and handles like a way more expensive reel. I own plenty of reels and it is up there with some of the better ones I own. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing reel. Working nice and smooth. First time out and phew good size fish hooked without ant problems. Working perfect. Light but very strong.
Been using the 4000 for last few months and it has been an absolute treat, casts well, good drag, magsealed and can put in a shift against big fish. On par with reels far more expensive
I own some top end diawa reels Luvias, SOL 2500s I bought the freams 3000 as a back up on the boat I always like to have multiple rods rigged for different scenarios. The Freams did it self proud in such company, Smooth, great drag, casting, and all round fantastic reel, if you can still snag one grab it quick.
