I rate it 4.8 out 5. The game is on physical cartridge which is great and runs well 98% of the time with 2% having frame rate drops. I'm playing it on my OLED Switch and only play in handheld mode which is the mode I graded on. The developers did an excellent job porting this to the switch the graphics look great. Maybe at or slightly below Xbox 360. I think the lighting is definitely better on the Switch OLED than on the Xbox 360. Hopefully more FPS games release soon on the Switch.

The first time I played Crysis was when I had gotten Crysis 2 for my 360 a while back. I enjoyed both the single player and multiplayer modes of the game, and found it enjoyable as a whole. When I heard they were doing a remaster of the full trilogy as an all in one collection, it peaked my interest. While the gameplay itself holds up pretty well, the fact that the collection is single player only, and does not include online multipalyer that was originally part of both Crysis 2 and 3 on consoles gives it a limited degree of replayability. Also, with a $50 price tag, it's hard to justify paying full price. I'd only be able to suggest this remastered trilogy to someone looking for a single player game, and if it were on sale for $30 or less.

Crysis trilogy is a pretty good remaster. These games are known for their graphics, which were way ahead of their time and still look fantastic today. The music is great too, as it is atmospheric and always fits the mood of whatever is happening. However, I think the best part about this game is the gameplay. It revolves around switching between suit mechanics (super speed, super strength, super armor, and going invisible) to take down enemies and traverse the world. There is a lot of freedom here and multiple ways to engage enemies and play the way you want to play. With about 30 hours of gameplay in just the main stories, you are getting your moneys worth with this one.

Crysis 2 in particular was a very very great game for me. I am actually one of those types with several games i start but never finish. I mostly play online with random people and have fun that way. Crysis 2 though; i finished! I believe it is one of the best games i ever played. I purchased the digital edition because i have 3 Xbox consoles and wanna play at all 3 locations. Trust me; BUY IT! I cant wait for a new Crysis designed for next gen!
Every Switch owner who enjoys FPS should buy this game, for three reasons: 1 Support the developer, 2. It's a technical marvel the developer got Crysis, CRYSIS!!!, to run on Switch, which supports reason 1, and 3, it's a great game, it looks amazing and plays well.I only wish the game supported Joy-Con controls for aiming. Maybe a patch will come in the future.P.S. Limited Run Games is selling physical copies of Crysis 2 and 3. Hurry!
Deja vu. This game has been released before. Given it’s age they still can’t give us 4k 60 plus fps without even minor issues. They made it so good that even pc users were pushing their graphical prowess to their limits for this game! Still with the age of this game you can’t hardly tell it’s older because it looks amazing! I bought the 1st remastered game not knowing about the trilogy, so imagine my surprise I had to repay to get it again. Still the price was just at the time and it equaled out. Worth the money for die hard fans or newcomers.
Not sure what is going on here, but Crysis 1 Remastered will not load. It says it needs an update and then tries to access it and says it can't and to try again later. I am playing on a Series X. I am sure this can be patched or maybe the day one patch needs unglitched. There is a workaround, keep your disc in and head to the Store and search for it, you can then download a digital version patched (make sure yuo keep your disc in when playing). But the low score is because this should not be happening at all. I would not recommend picking up as this should be complete ON DISC and it's not. Crysis Remastered is a great collection of decade old FPS games that answer the question, "Can it run Crysis". And the answer is the Xbox One and Series consoles can run Crysis, and so can the Switch. That said these titles have never run or looked better especially on console. But that said they even run great compared to the PC versions. On Series consoles, you even get the benefit of ray tracing and other modern lighting techniques. All around this is a great collection that should be in any FPS fan's library, even if you have played them before.
I was excited this game got an update. The game is polished but I felt like the 1st game could of been ironed out more but it’s lots of fun, the 2nd game is great until…half way through and all the bugs and glitches happen. Why? No idea! But it’s only the 2nd game and my friends have the same issues. The 3rd game got the most love and attention and you can tell. Looks almost next Gen!
I played all 3 games back when they first released and remembered having fun with all of them and was excited to replay them all in thia remastered set.The first game has some parts that didnt age well and is rough around the edges but is still fun to play.The 2nd game is really good with a decent story and solid gameplayThe 3rd one is probably the best out of all of them and still holds up extremely well considering it released 9 years ago. I didn't remember much of it but it has a very good story and graphics that look better than a bunch of current games. Definitely worth buying.Only bummer for me was that Crysis Warhead is not included in the package but its understandable considering that the game never released on consoles.
