A really superb quality power supply with all the connectors you will ever need. It is virtually silent with the fan barely spinning on light loads. I was concerned with the warranty around a relatively expensive product but with 10 years as standard I have little to worry about in that regard.Scan as always provide an exceptional customer service & I enjoy the shopping experience with them especially with the high intuitive and navigable web site.

Good power supply but I have a few cons with it. First, it is huge, so huge I removed the hard drive trays from a Corsair 7000d. Second the cables are pretty standard, for the type of money you are spending I would expect a nice nylon sock cover. Third for a 2022 psu it should have came with 12vhpwr. Finally, ever modular PSU I have bought from corsair atleast gives you the small bag for your cables. This one did not include a bag.

I bought this to replace my 11 year old Corsair AX1200. It still worked perfect but wanted to replace anyway due to its age.The HX1500i is very efficient, i get 88-93% efficiency most of the time. The zero fan rpm mode, while nice.... With this off, the temps inside the psu can go up to 60C under load. I have the fan constantly spinning at 40% and the temps never go above 38C. The fact it has 4+4 cpu cables is a bonus as most boards need the extra 4 or 8 pin connector.

Epic power supply for the money. Stable, platinum rated, lots of cables for whatever you're running, works great on 110V or 220V, the corsair software is bloated, but works well if you want tons of live stats on the PSU. The included cables are good enough and look good when routes properly.. but why include braided cables when you can sell them for another 100 bucks on top of the nearly $400 you already spent? Then again, this really isn't meant for the average user and pairs well with HEDTs or multi-gpu setups.
Shockingly large amount of power in a standard package size. Just to note, this will not hit 1500 watts unless used with 220v power! You'll still get around 1200-1300 watts on 110v.
I know its expensive but this is quality unit all over. Quiet, highly efficient. Also orderd the 600w compatible cable for 4090 for clean looks. Amazing unit overall.
My system has an i9 13900k and 3080Ti. It doesnt come close to 1500W but its goot to know that i have a lot of soace for upgrades while still remaining a very quiet power supply. I wish the cables were more nice, they look and feel like simple old modular cables.
This is an incredibly efficient workhorse! Solid 80 PLUS Platinum achievement. In case you're looking to upgrade to this from a previous Corsair HXi PSU, note that this one utilizes Corsair's TYPE 4 motherboard cable. The rest can use TYPE 3.More than enough connections for high-end builds.Switchable between single and multi-rail in iCUE. Tunable fan curve and other features.Not ATX3.0/PCIE5.0 compliant, if that matters to you.
It's an even bigger beast - I really like the modular approach to the cables.I have the HX1000 - also super tough.Tough - high power - well protected, and it protects your motherboard and devices.I know - I'm building a miner, and I blew-up two cheap power supplies. Not this one.
First off this is unbeleivably silent you can't here it it is made by Seasonic for Corsair this psu is also larger than you would think only 50mm or 2 inches but it makes a big difference & is heavy so great signs of build quality. The cables are ribbon based all apart from the main 24pin mobo power & are very long so carful prep is needed in a midi tower case for cable tidying folding back etc one for sure it's atx3.0 compatible with the correct corsair cable for your nvida 4070/80/90 series card but runs amd straight out of the box no extra cables needed & it's a solid buy all the way if you need head room for a top dog rig.
