Bought the shower caddy as we were sick of the metal versions rusting. The command plastic versions seemed like a good alternative as we use the hooks all over the house (and are great I might add) We followed the instructions to the letter but after 24 hours the sticky strips just fell off. We have tiles that have a textured finish so assume that’s the reason they did not stick. As I say we use command products all over the house and are really happy with how the perform but it should really state on the packaging that these strips are not suitable for textured tiles, which are not uncommon these days.

These strips have held up great! There was a little mishap on the first day where one strip was defective and fell off, but since putting on the new one it has lasted over 5 months. While I was disappointed to lose out on a strip initially, I realize this could’ve been user error and fixed my mistake to make them last this king now. I do wish these water resistant strips came with more hook options though. I had to purchase my hooks separate because I didn’t like just the clear or white options.

These work great! That's why I bought these refills. I had them in my shower for several years holding a container that held large shampoo and conditioner bottles and a razor. When I moved I simply pulled the strips out. I still have the container, but it only came with one set of strips, so the refills are for my new house. If someone has trouble with them, they need to be on a smooth surface, thoroughly cleaned, wiped with alcohol, and allowed to dry. Also be sure to wait the recommended time before use. Harsh chemical cleaners may effect their ability to stay attached.

These sure do come in handy! Love the multiple sizes and Walmart had the best price on these. Waterproof as long as your toddler doesn’t pull it off. Good thing you get several in a pack. Will purchase again, when needed.
A segment of my business offering includes providing decorations for special occasions or to celebrate any given holiday. Command strips are my primary tool to get the job done. The water-resistant bath strips are the best for hanging decorative string lights or my heavier decor pieces. When used with 3M plastic hooks, you get the same holding power as a nail. The advantage is that I don't have to leave holes in the client's walls when using bath strips. I have decorated indoor pools and can attest to the water-resistant capabilities of this product. Simply a superior product that ensures my decorations stay put. I've included a couple of pictures of wall decor that was emplaced using Command bath strips.
We have several 3M Command strips and hangers in our house. They’re are all great, except for this one. The strip says it’s water resistant, but it’s not. We followed all the instructions and more than 24 hours later, after 5 minutes in the shower, it fell down entirely. The back of the adhesive was clearly not sticking anymore. Initially we thought we had done something wrong, so we bought new water resistant strips, weighted all products to make sure it was within the limit and followed the instructions again. And, again, it could not hold it for more than 5-10 minutes.
The label said 5 lbs, it can't even hold 3 lbs weight, and i even used 2 5 lbs tape and 1 3 lbs tape, and it still falling down. I don't know why, maybe the tape expired or it just damaged, the tape isn't sticky enough. Don't buy, i won't recommended
Waited an hour to use, then several more hours before someone took a shower. About an hour after the shower it fell and there was no stickiness to it at all. Also no water hit this directly as it was placed on the highest tile in the bath.
Highly recommend. These strips work great. Never loosened up and when I was moving they came off the shower wall with ease. Left no residue or marks. The shower wall was 100% clean.
